Christian believe that a Bible Prophecy is a God-given revelation of the future. God gave his prophets, including Moses, ezekiel, Isaiah and Jerimiah, prophecies of the future. He did this to prepare people to the future, and to show he is the one true GOD and that He is all-powerful...

Hi randz, I wouldn't pay much attention to these Bible prophecies, we don't understand most of them anyway. If you want to be a Christian, read the teachings of Christ as found in the Gospels. Study the sermon on the mount found in Matthew chapters 5,6 and 7, memorize it and practice it. You need nothing else to be a christian. Blessings.

I agree. Also, prophecy has two meanings. First, as you stated, it is a God-given revelation (of blessing or judgement) as shown in the major and minor prophets. Second, it also means proclaiming the true and living God. Refer to Saul prophesying in 1Sam 10:9-13. The passage doesn't give reference to a specific prophecy, only that the Spirit of the Lord came upon him and caused him to prophesy. This example and others show us that God uses even unbelievers to proclaim Him (I hope we agree that Saul was an unbeliever). Also in Rom 12:6, Paul calls on the church in Rome to "prophesy according to the proportion of faith" KJV, showing us an example that all believers prophesy when proclaiming truth about God as a result of the Holy Spirit in our lives. To that end, the Bible itself is a prophet. It being called "the Word", any reference to "the Word" is a direct reference to Christ, the greatest of prophets, of which is one of His many attributes.

You left out 2 Prophecy that are relevant to today. Daniel prophesied about the future of Bablyon and then John The apostle prophesied in Revelations about the future that is coming and is very close now.
