Are some of your mylot friends profile pages so "busy" you can't read them?

I went to the profile page of one of my mylot freinds to see if there were any discussions I could reply to and the page is so full of stuff...it's very pretty but it has things blinking and moving that I could barely read what the discussions were about! I tried but couldn't stay on the page long enough to read through the discussions they had started because I felt like I would get a headache.
Has this ever happened to you? Have you seen some pages that you just couldn't read or look for what you wanted?

I noticed that too. How funny. I get partly annoyed. And another part of me is a bit envious. No time to brighten up my page. Can also give you a headache. There are times I just say what the heck. Then occasionally give up. Guess you could try a private message.

I know how to do it but it never works for me here on mylot and I haven't figured out why yet. I have made some pretty nice looking profiles and pages but I always keep them toned down so people can at least find what their looking for.

Oh yes... occasionally I will come across one.
Well, a bit is ok but too much may be well, too much.
But ultimately, it's the choice of the myLotter how his or her page looks.:P

I have to say that most of the people on my friends list have very easy to read profile pages and that is one of the reasons why I accepted or asked them to be on my friends list.

I envy those people who know how to pimp out their pages in style, ctry, but it does make it hard to navigate through them sometimes. I plan to add more to my page sometimes in the future-but nothing so grand!

I've been trying to "pimp out" my page here and for some reason it never works. I plan on working on it though and it will be easy on the eyes but nice to look at.

Yes some of the people here have their pages too wild. I won't stay on one too long either, because it will also give me a headache. I also don't like the profile pages that are so dark. Some are all black with yellow writing and I can't read the writing. Or the ones with music. I don't mind the ones that the music is soft, but those ones that the music is so loud and too heavy for me. I don't stay on those ones either. I like to see ones that are just plain jane. I think those are the easiest to read. I keep mine plain jane, as it came when I got it from mylot. I like yours too. It is plain and easy to read and I am looking at some of your older discussions and responding to them because they are of very good quality.

Don't you love the profiles that are so dark that you can't tell who they belong to? I like to know if it's a male or female, the age and where they come from. If I can't read that I won't accept them as a friend.

I've seen some pages that were real busy like that too. I don't stay on them very long because I don't like it when it has so much stuff on there that it starts to give you a headache. I think it can look nice just being plain and simple.

Yes, actually I looked at someone profile page today and they head a medium blue background, which was very nice and almost the same color for their text. I could barely see the text much less read it.
They may have been able to see the text fine on their computer or display..maybe they have their contrast all the way up or something..but I could not read it. I left the page.

Sometimes they look cool but other times the graphics block the content. Then there are some with music I don't want to hear, or videos I don't want to see. I just keep mine simple just so people can get to it. It seems to work.

Oh, I definitely agree they do look cool but there are some of us here on the..."older" side who don't see as well as the younger set and it really does a job on our eyes.

Hi,there! Some of my mylot friends' profile pages are also very busy and nicely designed with many things.I usually don't have problems with reading the discussions,but maybe sometimes if there're too many colors and things hanging in the page,then my eyes get tired.Anyway,I could still read and take a look:) Hopefully you'll get used to that and overcome it!
