If Hillary Clinton is elected President who will be the real president? Bill Clinton keeps telling us that he will be there to advise Hillary. There is talk that he will sit in on Cabinet meetings, it is bad for mrs Guliani to to it but OK for BBill Clinton to do it, She has said that he could be a roving ambasitor handling foreign affairs. Right now it seems that every time Hillary stumbles or makes a mistake Bill comes to the rescue. Is that how he will deal with her as president.

There is no doubt in my mind that Hillary will be the boss if elected President. Hillary has only put up with William Jefferson Blythe Clinton to obtain a goal. After becoming President her reason for putting up with him for any reason will be over. I predict that if Hillary is elected President, Bill will be extra deferential to her.

He won't be 'willing', he'll just not have a choice. As to doing things to undermine Hillary, sure he will, but it will always be in an underhanded way such that he can claim he was 'helping'. Both Clintons are sneaky, slick, double crossers.

Bobmnu, everyone ouhgt to know by now that the married always influence each other in decision making. It is naive for anyone to assume that such will not happen. We all know, for example, that Nancy Reagan always influenced her husband, president Ronald Reagan, with her daily horoscope readings. Anyway, Michael Reagan during his talk show predicted on December 17, 2007, that if Hillary Clinton is nominated as the presidential candidate for the democrats, then a republican will win the 2008 presidential election; but if Obama is nominated as the presidential candidate for the democrats, then Obama will win the 2008 presidential election.

Let me get this straight - when Clinton was President and since he's left office there have been many accusations that Hillary was the one who was actually "running" the country. People on the right are still bristling over Clinton's "Buy on get one free" comment that he made during his first campaign. Now the worry is that if Hillary's elected Bill will be in charge! Talk about a no-win situation! Guiliani's mistress-turned-wife has no qualifications to sit in on any Cabinet meeting that I'm aware of, so of course it wouldn't be right for her to do so. Clearly if Hillary becomes President we'll be in a unique situation such as we've never had before and it will be interesting to see what role the former President does play but although I haven't decided for sure who will get my primary vote having Bill Clinton in the White House again is plus rather than a minus. (I doubt if he'll be on TV reading to dogs...lol) Annie

It does present a unique situtation. When the First Lady expreses her views it is news worthy, but when the former president (who is married tot he President) says something it is policy or may seem like it. Look at what hapopened when President Clinton was advising on the Duby Ports Deal and Senator Clinton was opposed to it. As a former presdent your words are more than your oponion. President W. Clinton has a habit of changing the facts in a story. For example now that Hillary's health care plan is comming under fire Bill steps in and claims that he was responsible for it not her. The problem is that wehn he campaings for her everything seems to be me me me and not her. It alsmost seems like he is the canadate not her.

Hilary will be the President, she was the president when Bill was in office, she will just be resuming her role without a man as a cover.

If that is the case she can't serve again. From what Billis saying he wants to be right in the mix and enjoy the power again. just listen to his speaches, one or twice he mentions Hillary or we but most of the time it is I did this or I did that I beleive this. It is all about him.

Hillary Clinton will be in charge. I hope Bill doesn't take his foot in his mouth and says something that embarasses her, but anyway he's already adjusting to his role as First Husband.

He never removed his foot from his mouth. He stated that her first act as president would be to send Bush 41 andhimself on a diplomatic mission around the world to repair the damage to our foreign policy and restore the trust in the US. Both Hillary and Bush 41 said no way. He has been making promises of what she will do once she is elected. Hehas even commented that she will not be making any big mistakes like bush because he will be there to advise her. The question remains who will be in charge and who will the world and the US people listen to?
