Hi meenneixz.
Crocodile Tears - tears or expressions of sorrow that are insincere. Where the origin said to be so named from a belief that crocodiles wept while devouring or luring their prey.

To weep crocodile tears is to put on an insincere show of sorrow.
The allusion is to the ancient notion that crocodiles weep while devouring their prey. Crocodiles do indeed have lachrymal glands and produce tears to lubricate the eyes as humans do. They don't cry though. Whatever emotion they experience when finding and devouring prey we can be certain it isn't remorse.

Hi meenniexz! The meaning of "crocodile tears" is hypocritical. It also means that one is being foolish and senseless by what he or she is doing. When one is acting or pretending to be doing something and you know the trigue he or she is playing, it can be said that, that person is being hypocritical. Thanks and have yourself a wonderful season.
