The wonderful srtess of it all. There is no housing on post at this time and it will be at least a year before there is any. So now I get the fun job of tring to find somewhere to live from 1500 miles away. My Husband is going over firstt o get things set up for all of us but we still have to look into finding something he can look at before he leaves. You know all the fun appoitments that he will have to do withous there to help. I guess he gats to have all the real fun. No horror stories yet and I hope I don't have at the end of this road.

Well we have moved 9 times since I have been in the Navy, not to mention that fact that I'm on the road all the time. I must say that my wife is a lot stronger than I, cause I would have told someone off by now.

I guess your wife must really love you. To bite her tongue when other would not have. we all know that caould get you in troble and nobody wants that to happen.

Don't sweat it. This is just one of the perks of military life if you can set your mind to think like that. You learn to handle things you never thought you would, and you get to live in different places. I'm also a military wife. You won't have any horror stories to tell just military wife experiences. Don't we all have them? :)

I'm tring to think in the Military mind set. It is not always easy to remember. I'm looking foward to being able to see different places and so are my kids. Thanks for the input.

This is one benefit that we would not get if we enlisted where I am from. You get other benefits, but housing is not one of them. It would really lift a lot of headaches for you given that lodging and shelter is provided. Hope you can find a good place and location to set up home!
