I mean if you use it just in a phone number I think it is absolutely the number zero, and if you use it in the word it should be a char.Do you get it??

I would consider 0 a number in the sense then its the number 0, how else would you discrib when you had 0 apples, or 0 oranges.. You could say hey i have NO apples, but that's not very mathmatical. 0 oranges plus 5 oranges is 5 oranges.. you see ? Do you agree with me or no? why or whynot ?

Hello and welcome to mylot. I am sure you will enjoy your time here and will make lots of new friends. I think 0 has to be a number. As what would describe the difference between 1 and -1? Also thrity would just be three without a 0

Yes, zero is a number. Interesting that you had a question about it. So I decided to see if it was easily defined. You're in luck. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/0_(number)

0 is a number. After all it is on the number line. Imagine a world with out zero...computers would not work, after all binary language is 1s and 0s. I think that zero is very important and definately a number.

if you use it as a number then i think it is a number but if you use it as a letter then obviously its not a number.it all depends on where you use it.
