EVER respond to any of yours? I'm thinking about deleting those people off my friends list... does anyone else get frustrated with this?

I know exactly what you mean!! =/ It kind of irritates me because I try to find time to comment on all of their things and then they can't do the same in return for me. I hope that your friends come around!!

A large percent of my friends don't post in my discussions, I don't mind because it gives me a chance to find decent posts and I know at times it's annoying how some of them claim to "post" to their friends and that makes me think okay I must not be one of them. I am happy when my friends respond, I know the ones who love to drop by and talk to me so it doesn't really bother me. ~Joey

Hehe.. She does like talking about children, I used to fairly often but I guess some grew old of seeing a guy being proud of parenting. (first seemed to get quite a few which surprised me then hardly any) still proud though =) Thanks!

Well, I must admit that I respond to very few friend's discussions on a regular basis..only because I have so many friends on my list, and there is only so much time in a day. I always get to those that are never fails on my discussions, and then go to the Discussions My Friends Started link and answer in sequence. So for those that are miffed about me not answering...sorry! Need more time in the day I guess!

I do the same, i go to the discussions that my friends started link. That usually gets you to all the discussions that your friends recently started. I have some of my friends on notify now that i have gone through and deleted some that are no longer here, and deleted some that annoy me lol. Sorry but some people do *laughs* its the people that annoy EVERYONE though! lol.

Yes, I have some like that, but I requested them, so I guess I don't feel like it's my place to delete them unless they get rude...

Well sometimes it is like this, though a few friends have come to me with reasons why their are no responses; and at least I know some are reading the discussions. Having a couple of no response discussions can get annoying, but overall I'm fine with how things are.

I have a discrete number of friends but not everyone answers to my discussions. I don't really mind coz I too have not the time to answer to everyone. And if I'm answer I'm gaining too even if that person doesn't answer me back, so I don't get frustrated

There are pro's and cons to having only a few friends on mylot, but if it works for you that's what matters right :) I'm glad that you dont get frusterated. That's good.

I do have a couple, they start discussions, but never comment on responses, or respond to other discussions. I do keep them because they have interesting subjects that I can respond to and make it easier.

I don't...I know all my friends don't respond to my discussions and I might or might not choose to respond to theirs depending on how interested I am in the topic. I really feel that people (in the friend list or not) should be free to choose which discussions they respond to. So, I wouldn't delete my friends from the list for the sole reason that they are not responding to my discussions. But your friend list is for you to do as you choose. So, it's your call on that one.

Actually it doesnt bother me at all...the main reason I accept a friend on here is so I have more topics to share in NOT so ppl will respond to mine..if they don't want to thats fine..doesnt bother me any BUT I also dont start tons of topics either..

I have, but I don't get bothered by it. I also have friends whom I don't respond to, since I don't have complete knowledge on some topics they post at times. Some of them are either inactive already, while some of them prefer to use me for their own interest (as if they only use me for them to gather such earnings and move one). This is what I don't really don't like, so I don't think twice of deleting and removing them from my list. Just do as to what you feel is right, everyone has their own preferences here in mylot..

I have a lot of friends in that catergory...I think. But I don't let it bug me. I am probably in that catergory myself. And most of my friends know (or should know) that I myself only have limited time to post, therefore I am not going to get to everyone's discussions. For some reason, homework during the college semester is important to do, go figure. There are days I have time for five posts only. I look for the items of the most interest to me. Does that make any sense? In my defense, I would like to say that I start very few discussions.

My rising sign is Virgo. I have read that Virgo is the sign that cleans out from under the fridge. I think that's why I am so obsessed with tidying up my friends list regularly. I like to look at my friends list and feel some kind of connection to the people represented there. If somebody is on my list who has never bothered to respond to any of my 'discussions' (I tend to ramble on & on, so I am very lenient in that area), and if on top of that it is someone whose discussions never interest me either, then I delete them. I only want a page or two of friends who start discussions that I generally find interesting, and who occasionally respond to mine. 10 or 20 pages of friends would have my head spinning.
