Yes, I am afraid of being older. Getting older means that slowly and slowly you are moving towards a weak and a fragile body. The age where you can't eat, walk, talk properly and there are so many shortcomings too. In old age, there is a weak and an impaired vision, so you can't take the fun of reading books or work on computers which you enjoy in a youthful life. There are so many things that you can't do in an old age. Reading magazines, novels, comics and different kinds of books is such fun, but, one won't be able to do so in old age because of old eyes. Books are an ocean of knowledge but you can't read them at old age, so there's this shortcoming in life. Similarly, there are many other shortcomings too. Old age means age to the way to hospital as you suffer from arthritis, high B.P., diabetes and many other illnesses and who wants to be on the sick bed. There are many other hardships too. You can't eat good, delicious dishes because of poor digestion. The teeth and gums become bad too. So old age is real bad. This is only another weakness. Similarly, there are many other things too, which you refrain from having fun of, at old age due to compulsion. So dear, who wants to become old?? The mind also gets upset and slow, so one can't do marvelous jobs or take decisions properly and keenly. In youth, you are joyous, energetic and full of life, which you can't, at an old age. So as you step towards a new day, life takes you closer to old age. So, one must be cautious and plan things which may not make one old. The skin loses its charm and who doesn't want to be beautiful. One should respect the old people, but, unfortunately, nowadays it's not the case and who wants to be discarded from his/her family and sent to an old age home. The beautiful, colorful clothes which you enjoy in youth are a curse in old age. Care and love gets lesser as you approach old age. So, better be young and joyful today and not think of coming old age.

I'm not really afraid of getting older. But I just don't like getting older. I just want to enjoy my life and I'm thinking if I still can enjoy life when I'm getting older. I'm 22 going 23 and I enjoy my life right now. I just hope that I would still be enjoying life 'till my last second.

No i'm not worried. I'm only 26 so i guess ask me again when i'm 40 and the response might be different! Until then I believe your as young as you feel.

Age is just a number :) I will be turning 27 on the 27th and I'm excited about it! I don't know if I'll ever be sad about getting older b/c I still feel young and I like to act immature and have fun whenever I can.

No, I'm not afraid of being older, I enjoy my age, and the wisdom that I have accumulated! But I do wish I was younger, because there are a lot of good looking girls out there, isn't there?

I am not so afraid of it. As no matter what, the time still goes fast and there is no way to stop it. Now my focus is on my son rather than myself. So if I am older one year, that means to say my son grows up:)

No, I'm not afraid of being older. It happens...to me, it's just another year, another day. Not a big deal. There are more important things in life than to sit around dwelling over getting older. It happens, it's supposed to happen. I'm just happy that I have another day on this earth to be with my children. Granted, i'm only 28, but you never know how long you have...you should live each day to the fullest and not dwell on bad things, like getting older. God bless
