Do you enjoy taking Photograhps for others more or be taken?

It's a common sight to see people taking photographs of themselves anywhere and everywhere (ie. restaurants, parks, shopping malls) in my country. After taking these pictures, the next step for them will be to post these pictures online (ie. friendster, myspace, facebook)
I have some friends who enjoy making themselves look good or pretty and then take photographs of themselves. They love to see themselves on photographs.
I have other friends who prefer using a good camera to capture photographs of people, scenery and objects. They are shy in front of cameras and do not enjoy taking photographs.
Which type are you?

I really don't like my picture taken at all. I don't really like the way I look in a mirror and don't want to see myself in a picture. I don't think I look good enough to have my picture taken. I will hide when someone gets a camera out.

i dun really like to be photographed and i also dun have much interest in taking photos of places too, unless i have a very good camera.. Because i believe in making the pictures come alife.. If i were to take pic of a beautiful place with a lousy camera, the whole feeling and place will be spoiled by it.. So no matter how nice i see it there, on photo, it's just another place.. So if i wanna take photo of really nice ple and places, i must have a very good camera :)

haha.. ya hor.. Most of the time will be in a restaurant or in fast food restaurant.. LOL =D Think the photographer must be waiting for the victim to start eating than they shoot.. Because once u start eating, u have no defense against yourself.. LOL =D Or maybe they trying to show singapore is a eating paradise.. LOL

I don't like either to be taken photographs or taking photographs.When I visit some places,I just want to enjoy the beautiful view with my true feelings. The photoes may get lost in future,but the real feeling won't disappear...

I would say I am the latter type.
I love to be able to take nice shots of an event or a occasion.
It doesn't matter whether the camera is a high end one of a simple Point-and-Shoot. As long as the place is good, the time is right, you can get really great shots to commemorate that event.

hmm I do love getting my photograph taken, but mostly its because I wanna keep it as a memory, things like that. I only upload it to my online photo album which only few have access to, not friendster or whatever. I've never photoshopped my own photo before..mainly coz i dont know how to! haha.

LOL. Same here. I know nothing about photoshop =P
Photographs look best and most natural unedited.
I'll usually upload to friendster and facebook to share with my friends. I'll restrict my profile in friendster and facebook to my 1st degree friends only.

there are times when i feel great and happy, i dont mind my pictures taken at those times!!! At all other times i prefer more being a photographer rather than being photographed! I wish if some one could photograph us when we are at real high...like when we give that special smile or at those victorious moments!!

Actually, neither.
I am a rather private person and for normal circumstances, I don't like to have my photo taken.
I just find the whole exercise rather pointless, so there. :P

Hi,there,poohgal,
I belong to the second type of people.Actually I am shy I don't want to show myself to others.....I admire those who can well perform themselves in front of the camera and show so many different kinds of poses ..As for me I can't;-)
I like the photographs with some scenery which is much enjoyable than seen myself on the picture......haha....

Well i am the one who love to be in any photograph...I like seen myself in the photos but also love to take photographs to some extent but moreover I love being captured in every photograph....

Depends on what kinda mood i'm in. there's only certain times i enjoy having pics taken of me when i feel like i look nice. but i enjoy taken pics at events. of people and wut they are doing.
