Ok, so I've been talking with many of you for over a year, off and on. (Yes, I admit, I'm a bad girl and tend to go away for a couple of months or weeks on end, but I do come back!) I would like to more about some of the people that I talk to on here! Wolfie, you come to mind! Eaforman also comes to mind, as does RavenladyJ and a few others! So I'm going to tell you a little about myself in hopes that you'll do the same! My name is Kim and I live in Reno, Nevada. I am currently very frustrated over being unemployed. I took a job that sounded too good to be true and turned out that it was just that! So I'm looking for work. I recently turned 40 years old, much to my dismay, on Christmas Day. I am divorced and engaged to marry a wonderful man that I love very much. We've had a couple of bumps in our road together, but I'm confident that I've finally found someone that I love enough to forgive, which has been a problem for me in the past. Neither of us have any children, but both want at least one. We do have two girls, but while they would like to think of themselves as humans, they are very much dogs! I'll add a picture of them to show you all. We both live with my Mother who is disabled and have agreed to be here to take care of her. She needs to have someone more able bodied living with her. We're preparing ever so slowly to make a cross country move in coming months. We want to go to Georgia and have chosen the LaGrange area as our future home. It's centrally located to many of our family members, close enough to reach them all within a few hours and far enough away that none of them will be breathing down our necks! We're all looking forward to it, just waiting with bated breath until we get our house sold. I am an avid reader and love to write fiction. I am a movie nut and a HUGE fan of science fiction and chick flicks. I love to answer stupid personal surveys on myspace. I'm also terribly hooked on that site too! If anyone wants to add me to their myspace friends, just send me a message and I'll give you my profile address). Anyway, that's about all I can think of to write about myself for now. I'd love to hear about all of you!

I think you know all about me already dear friend, most of my life has been splashed onto Mylot over the last year. It's been like War and Peace, either that or a big Soap Opera and sometimes I feel I'm a big drama king or queen depending on how you see me! Not much more to add, I am also unemployed like your good self. I did spend 3 years training to work with children and I got all my qualifications but because I am a bloke I can't get a job, so I have had to give up my dream. I still have a lot of issues to work out on, but it's look like I'm going to get my long term counseling! I am very happily single and I live about 20km outside London, the big capital of the UK! I love horror films and can't get enough of them and I also love going to my beloved retreat three or four times a year where I can be myself, relax, have massage and chill out. I love travel and have been to some great places, Cyprus, Germany, Prague, Amsterdam and Rhodes. There that's me , the rest you know my friend Kim!

LOL that would be funny if my parents named me Wolfie! Actually I could have been raised by a mother wolf, but I wasn't, er thankfully LOL! Ok my mum actually wanted to call me Shane! I only found out recently, but my dad didn't like the name so they settled on.... Brian that is my birth name However whenever I am out on the pull or if I meet anyone I always call myself Reese! So you can call me Brian, Wolfie or Reese, I'll answer to any of them LOL

Wolfie, yes real name please as we just became friends here as of today! Also, I'd love to hear more about your travels sometime as I'm from the U.S. and have never been outside the country with exception of Canada, which doesn't really count anyway. (LOL) Very interesting learning more about you! Take care. :)

Hi, Kim! This is an excellent discussion for you to post today of all days when it was today that I sent you a friends request that was hopefully accepted. (LOL) Since you've so graciously shared about yourself, here's a little about me. My name is Jessica, but my friends call me Jess. A pet peeve of mine is being called "Jessi" or "Jesse" (depending on which way people spell it) because that's definitely a guy name in my opinion! Everyone here can call me Jess! It's shorter and I love it. Ok, so I'm from Michigan and live about 20 miles north of Detroit. I say that because most people have heard of Detroit. It's the "car capital of the world." (By the way, I've also been to the North American International Auto Show for the last five years in a row, I think.) Anyway, I live in a much nicer (and safer) area than Detroit even though I'm so close. If anyone who responds to this discussion happens to read my response and is from Michigan, I can tell you more specifically where I'm from since you'll probably have a better idea of where I am then everyone else! I love cars. I think it has to do with where I grew up, but I can't learn enough about them (that's why I own two myself!) I just got my Camaro this past July. (LOL) I've lived in Michigan all my life. I hate the winters, but it's a great place to live. I'm not sure if it's true anymore, but at one time, the county I live in was the richest county in the U.S. I don't think it's true anymore, but it sounds good right? Everything here is really expensive. That's another reason why I'll probably get out of here eventually. The harsh winters are driving me crazy too! I graduated from college in Florida this past May (2007) with my Bachelor of Science in Business with an Office Administration Concentration and a Business Technology Minor. I'm proud to call myself a college grad! I can't believe it's going to be a year that I've been done this-coming May! After completing my degree, I started working at the largest title insurance company in Michigan. We're licensed to do title in almost all of the 50 states, which gives us a huge scope of business. If you've heard of Quicken Loans and/or Rock Financial, then you know where I work. My company is actually called Title Source. We have an affiliated relationship with the other two companies I mentioned. We do the title insurance end of all their deals. It's a really neat place to work. By the way, Quicken Loans was just voted #2 in the 100 Top Companies to Work. That makes me happy! I'm dating the best guy in world who I met at college four and a half years ago. We live an hour away from each other so we get to hang out on the weekends when we're not busy. We're getting engaged very soon! We'll probably get married next summer or fall. I can't wait! We've been dating almost four years. We will probably stay in Michigan for a while after we're married. I can't think of anything else to tell about myself, but if anyone has questions feel free to leave me a comment! I try my best to respond to every comment. Thanks for reading. I'm also looking forward to reading about everyone else on this discussion also! Take care, everyone!!

Well, it's very nice to meet you Jess! And welcome to my friends! I've actually been to the area you live in and found it lovely. Of course, that was during the summer! The roads through Detroit were just horrid though! Where in Florida did you go to school? I'm originally from South Florida, a small town called LaBelle that's about 35 miles east of Ft Myers.

Hi, Raven. Thanks for the interesting fact about yourself. I found that very interesting as well as humorous! Hey, Dutchess. I actually went to college in Pensacola, which is in the panhandle, directly opposite of where you were. We were about 30 minutes max from Alabama. It was so funny being so close as I have a lot of family in AL. Yes, the Michigan roads are a mess thanks to the lovely winter weather and extreme temperatures. (Speaking of which, tomorrow is going to be a high of 0 [zero] degrees and a low of -22. YIKES!) Anyway, I'm actually from Rochester Hills, Michigan. It's close enough to Detroit to enjoy the Auto Show and some other nice events that take place there but I'm live far enough away from the ghetto. (LOL) The slummy parts of Detroit have gotten so dangerous! I would never walk around down there by myself or at night. I wouldn't even drive there during the day by myself! My company (Quicken Loans) is actually moving its headquarters to Detroit, though. They made such a big deal about it. I think it's a great idea because it's really going to clean it up in my opinion. The move will take place by the year 2010, I believe. Thanks again for reading my response. It's great to receive both of your comments! And Raven, I'm curious to learn more about you as well!
