Since I have been here for this long and have made so many good friends, I feel that it is time for me to tell you a bit more of my story. I know that I have told you quite a bit about me already, but this is something that I have been holding back. I feel that the time to confess is now. Several months ago I found the Easiest and Most Delicious Recipe for Peanut Butter Cookies Ever! INGREDIENTS: 1 EGG 1 CUP SUGAR 1 CUP PEANUT BUTTER DIRECTIONS: PREHEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES BEAT EGG, ADD SUGAR AND BLEND WITH THE EGG. ADD THE PEANUT BUTTER AND BLEND WELL DROP BATTER BY TEASPOONS FULL ONTO BAKING SHEET THAT IS LIGHTLY SPRAYED WITH COOKING SPRAY,WITH FORK DIPPED IN SUGAR, MAKE CROSS HATCHES OVER EACH COOKIE. POP IN 375 DEGREE OVEN FOR 10-12 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM OVEN. LET THEM STAND IN PAN FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES THEN PLACE ON COOKIE RACK TO COOL. If you are a peanut butter cookie fan, I promise you will also get this addiction. The first time I made them I made one batch. The second time I made them I made a double batch. I know from personal experience that you can make a batch x4. It totally amazes me that there is no flour or any spices of any kind in these cookies, yet they are sooo good. If you like peanut butter blossoms, you can also put a Hershey's Kiss in the center of each one when the cookies come out of the oven while they are still warm. I hope you try this while the weather is still cold. If you do, please let me know if you like them as much as I do. Bright Blessings~Donna

Thank you so very much for telling me about adding the chocolate chips! One of my friends asked me if I had ever tried that but I hadn't because I was afraid it would mess up something that was too good to be true! Now I know that I can make them even better. You are the best!~Donna

Those cookies were gone in no time and they were begging for more..A couple of my friends came by and we had those cookies with coffee...So tommoro i will make some more..What i did with the choc chips was when i put them on my sprayed baking sheet i put 2 or 3 little chocolate chips on top of the cookies before i stuck them in the oven..I used chocolate chips on some and peanut butter chips on some, both were delicious..This will be my favorite cookie, cause they are easy and everybody loved them................

I wrote your recipe down, I will give them a try. It does sound easy to make. Are they good dipped in milk? Thanks for the recipe, I have a little cookie monster, I like to keep him supplied with fresh cookies. Its been awhile since I have made any, he was happy tonight with the ones I made.

Life's A Witch - Cat in a Witch's Hat
They are so incredibly easy to make, you can do it with your cup of coffee in your hand. My 11 year old grandson helps me to make them all of the time. I thought of these when I read and posted to your Dip or Not Dip Post. You will find out there if I think they are good dipped. Blessed Be~Donna

I thought you were going to say your addiction was to myLot. Mine is! I think those cookies would be great with the dark chocolate Hershey kisses, but for valentine's day I might try making them with the cherry cordial ones or some of each! Can't wait to try them!

Please do try it. But beware, it is so incredibly good. I started out eating 2 cookies like any genteel woman would do. By the end of the evening I was eating 6 at a time. I had just a bit of help from my partner, but the very next day is when I made the double batch. By the time I got up to making the quadruple batch (and I justified that by giving a dozen to the neighbors) it was barely over a week since the first time I made them! Please tell me how you like them. You can cut the sugar to 3/4 cup if you want ---- but why ruin perfection? Many Blessings~Donna

Sounds delightful! I was just reading this to my sister while we were on the phone and we both agree that it is one we will certainly try. Who needs flour!

Yummy! Thank you so much for sharing this treasure. I wanted to make some right now this moment - it's after 1 am - but I don't have quite enough peanut butter. Darn!!! If it were warm out I might have headed to our 24 hour supermarket...lol. I'll let you know, maybe tomorrow if this addiction is catchy. Annie
