Mrs. Bimbo Williams....

I received a spam e-mail, you know the one, where you are the heir to $20 million blah blah blah from Nigeria. I normally just delete it without reading, but today I noticed it was from a Mrs. Bimbo Williams. Now no offense to people with this name at all, but here in Nova Scotia Canada a bimbo is a young woman (usually not very smart) who is indulged by rich and powerful older men. Considering they are trying to scam me out of my money, I was wondering who was the bimbo here... Have you every come across a name that was really funny or meant something very different?

Now that is funny, those get automatically filtered out so I never read them, I will have to go back and see if I got that one.

Ha ha! There's also a bakery company named Bimbo, from Mexico I think. The first time I saw one of the local illegal immigrants wearing his soccer shirt with "Bimbo" in big letters, I broke out laughing! http://homerenorepair.suite101.com/ http://yourwriter.blogspot.com/

Yeah mine go in the junk pile and I usually don't bother, but lately I found that some "Good stuff" was accidentally going through so I have been doing a quick check to see if I miss something. Almost missed a $40 survey that got thrown in there! Yikes! So I skim the subject lines. Just happened to catch my eye. What a "name" HA Thanks

i think that is really funny.coming from nigeria they probably do not know what a bimbo is.maybe you should e-mail them back with a explaination to what a bimbo is and we will see if they will send you anymore inheritances

I would love too! LOL The only reason I never respond back to these things is that you end up with 30 more scam mails afterwards. Thanks!

OMG We used to have a dog we called Bimbo! Seriously he was a cairn terrier who lived to a grand old age of 17! And Bimbo also means a loose woman and tart in the UK! So you'd think she'd change her name! I love the name Short, especially if the guy is about six foot 2. Or If they have a name which pertains to the body and their body part is the opposite to their name! Thanks for making me laugh. Well done on being an heir, but the only heir you are likely to get is one of Wolfies LOL! Don't break open the champagne too soon over the email will you ;0)

Here in the US, Bimbo means pretty much the same thing. I don't know anyone who would purposely name their daughter that, or any woman who would change her name to that. Kinda makes you wonder what that scammer was thinking when they wrote the letter. On another note I would like to present a letter I got a little while ago. There was a woman in Russia that wanted to make me the executor of her estate to give it to charity against her families wishes. The only problem was, even though she lived in Russia, she sent me the e-mail from an e-mail addy in Texas lol. I wonder how many people fell for that one.

Yeah. The company that she uses must be regional, because we have a version of that same service here in Cincinnati. Wherever you get an e-mail address from that company from, your domain is the city or state and rr (road runner). I about bust a gut this time. I got a new one for you that I got a couple of days ago. No misplaced e-mail addys this time. But this guy just wants me to be his penpal. He only mentioned once that he was wealthy, and that he only had three weeks to live. He just wants a friend because he only worried about money and his business throughout his live blah-blah. Maybe the scammer wants to butter me up for the kill later lol?

HAHAHA I might have missed the Addy on that one. I had one scammer say that three large men can into his office claiming to be there on my behalf to claim my millions and he wants to know if I consent. I felt like writing back saying SURE go ahead and give them the cash, but I would likely get 30 scam e-mails more because of it.

I got the exact same email the other day, but I think that the name was different. I have heard of the emails before but never seen one myself until the other day. I think names like Barbie and Candy are funny. I knew a girl is school named Chastity.
