Question about C Sections

I've had 2, one almost 8 years ago and one 3 years ago. And the scar from my 8 year old seems to itch more often than my 3 year old one. Although they both itch frequently especially in warm weather. And my 8 year old one is horizontal, could that be why it itches more? And how long will I be dealing with them being itchy. Its kind of embarrassing to be scratching my tummy in public when they itch!

I had 3 C Sections, one 14 years, 12 years and 3 1/2 years ago. Surprisingly, I have never experience any kind of itchy with my scar. The only thing I don't like is the ugly scar that I have beneath my bikini line. I suppose it is better if you discuss with your doctor about it. Probably you only need some kind of anti-itch cream to apply on it.

I am not sure about this because my CS is vertical and though it's itchy at times, I'm afraid to scratch it because its only 5-months old. I think your wounds should have been completelt healed by now and better ask your OB why its still itchy. Maybe you can try changing into a more comfortable clothing and see if it would help since some fabrics, especially when its hot, makes our skin itchy.

Thanks for your response I'll have to do that. Like I said it doesn't really itch unless its hot out or I've been sweaty.
