All my jeans are so old and I don't have the money to buy new ones. They are so faded and look awful. So I am going to dye them all. Some of them I am going to dye blue and some black and some brown. My sister told me that brown jeans are the in thing now. Is this right? Do you wear brown jeans? I have dyed them all in the past but after washing them hundreds of times, lol, they look awful again. Have you ever dyed your jeans? Do you just dye them all blue again or do you dye them different colors, like black and brown? Do you own a pair of brown jeans?

I have never dyed a pair of jeans, I wouldnt know how to. Im afraid I just buy a new pair, I bet though that you can do lots of things to an old pair of jeans and make them look as good as new. When I was younger I had a gorgeous pair of brown jeans, at the time it was not really the in colour that everyone was wearing so this made them more special to me, because I had something that no one else was wearing!

mine's all blue.. i don't own a lot.. i got about 7 pairs but i usually wear only 4 of them.. two of them are my fave and i wear them everytime either is available.. i don't know.. i don't want to buy new ones, so i wear them till they're so ragged and torn apart.. that's the time i'll stop.. then i'd come across another fave and repeat the cycle.. but i'll still keep some in my closet hoping i'll be able to mend them. it's hard to find a pair of jeans that hugs your body perfectly.. that's why when i found one, it's hard to let go..

In Canada and the US we pay extra at the Store, to buy faded and ragged Jeans. The kids think it looks "cool" to wear faded Jeans with holes in the knees. I have bought the faded jeans before but I don't like to wear Jeans with holes in the knees. I have noticed some Brown Jeans in Walmart this winter. I don't have any Brown Jeans, but I have a pair of Faded blue Jeans to wear when I want to look cool.

I have dyed clothes to extend thier life. Unfortunatly when my jeans wear out it is usually in the form of rips and tears not color. No amout of dye is going to help me here. g oodluck with the dying. I have never worbn brown jeans but I've seen them. I'm not sure that dying brown over blue would come out good.d let us know.

I have never had a brown jeans and I am not sure, if that color really fit the jeans. i would probably much more stay with blue. I think blue jeans will be in fashion forever. I have dyed jeans before, because I had them for a really short time(they were black) and I had those white stripes on them from washing. So i dyed them, but they really quick lost the color, so I just bought a new one. Right now I would rather nvest the money to more expensive jeans and know they will last longer. I have one for two years and wear them all the time and they still like a new. They wasn't reall expensive, but still more expensive like I would usually buy, but i am really happy about them.

I have never dyed jeans or other clothes. In your experience are the new dyes colourfast and last a long time? I know brown is in with clothes. When I was invited to a wedding I bought a new two piece dress. I have only worn it once. I am not sure I like brown. But anyway I was at the St. Vincent de Paul second hand shop to look for a glass bowl and went through the clothes as well. I noticed they had some really nice jeans for very cheap prices. I did not shop for clothes so I did not buy any. Maybe if you checked out the Salvation Army or Goodwill you might find some really nice ones for a couple of dollars.

I don,t think that brown jeans is the think here lol I don,t saw anyone with brown jeans and I don,t see some in the store lol. I never dye my jeans and I don,t even know how to do it. But most of the time I will wear them until they have big whole in it and after that I will simply buy new one. Or when I have some money I will go see the sales and things like that a buy some jeans that I will only wear it later

I have brown jean styled pants. Love them. Love the idea of dying old jeans to get back that color too. So what dye do you use? What color? I know Rit dye used to carry a jean dye but it was so dark looking that I never tried it. Maybe they've come out with some new colors? Do you dye your jeans in the washing machine? How do you do it? I would love to try this. Thanks!

My jeans are never worth dying. I wear them until they fall right off me. LOL The last pair that got thrown in the trash ended up there by my husband. He couldn't believe I was still wearing a pair of jeans that had one leg held together by the inseam only. I never go anywhere so, I didn't see anything wrong with them. They still kept my legs from getting torn up in the pasture. LOL

Hello Chrislotz, I didn't have lots of jeans. Just 10 jeans I think and 9 of my jeans are in the shade blue, one is in light brown color. I remember when I was in college I tried dying a pair of jeans. But then the result was not good, so I swear not to use dye again on my jeans. Instead buy a new one if I can already afford to. I don't care if my jeans are already old or faded. So long as they are not yet worn, I would continue using them. I don't like to wear jeans which has holes and are worn out already even though for other it is fashion.
