I never really write a poem to someone i love, but i though it can be a really nice gift. If the person save it and you will find it many years later i think it can be nice memory for someone special. Have you ever writen a poem for someone? Who was the person?Do you still have it ?

My honey doesn't much like poetry, but I've written a few about him, lol. Here is one: http://www.authspot.com/Poetry/The-Narcissist.37751 Actually I wrote a whole little booklet of short poems about him. He is probably embarrassed by them, so now he knows how I feel about some of the portraits he has painted of me, lol.

Thanks, it is part of Triond, a PTW (paid-to-write) program, actually. Unlike myLot, however, their payments are in the form of passive income, like royalties. I just added a link to my Triond stuff to my myLot profile if it interests you at all.

Hi Laurika. I agree with you about the beauty and value in one's poem, but I don't know to write it in an 'effective' disciplines. Ha ! Ha!...I think if I write it, people will say this to me, "What a crap or scrap???". Given to someone?, so far NO, Laurika. But to myself as practices, many times and I just keep it for my own. When I read back my poem, I will laughs out loud...ha! ha!...far from a poet laureate. Happy Postings and Earnings, Laurika. HAPPY DAPPY.

No and never been somewhere else, Laurika. Many members knew about my PLP(Problem Loading Page) for almost two(2) months. As my response to other's discussion went multiples, sometimes my answer went out 68 times per one discussion, so I got warning from mylot. What a sigh, Laurika....members misinterpret that 'glitch' and rated me for -ve, that is why my star rating from red9 went down to silver7, previously. Now, it gain back only for yellow8. That was why I "rest" for two(2) months till the PLP problem resolved by mylot. So in that 'rest' time, I concentrated and focused my free-time-ctivity on my 'mini-hydrophonic' plants at home for bean sprout and baby-spinach. Sorry Laurika, bad luck started my new year 2008. Very sad.

When I was a teenager I made a special gift for my dad. I wrote a poem on a piece of my nice stationary, about what a good father he was. I bought an inexpensive connected side by side picture frame, put the poem on one side, and a picture of me and my dad together on the other side. He still has it and I know it was one of his favorite Christmas presents ever from me.

I have written a poem to someone I used to love. We broke up years ago and I am now happily married so I no longer have the poem. It was written to an ex-boyfriend I used to have.

I almost did. I agree with you that it's a really nice gift. Sometimes when I see some nice poems, I would print it out and stick it in my room or something. I have received quite a few poems as gift and it's really wonderful. I am not sure if my mind would lead me to writing a poem for someone, if it does, I am sure that would be the most special person *laughs*.

Hi friend, How are you. And Am i still in your friends' list? Regarding this, i love writing poems and it in my blood, and i have written quite a few. Way back in 1996, i read one poem to my best friend, who was my boss, and i to presented her when she came from leave. The content of the poem reads, how i felt during here absence in office, and the people commented about her in her absence, etc. I still have the with me the poem, also simalar to this i have written on many situations, which i relish reading during my leisure times. BTW,princess yasmine how is your marriage life.. Hope that you are having a good time. God bless you friend.: Take care.
