Are you paying for a BT Home Hub that is next to useless!

A few months back I signed up for BT Internet sevice and I sit here now and tell you what a big mistake that was!! Firstly, it took BT 3 weeks to connect the service and when it was finally connected it didnt work. Everytime I called I was left hanging around on the phone for upto 3 hours at a time being passed from pillar to post because Im sorry to say it the so-called professionals didnt know their well from their elbows. So 3 months on I do have internet yes I do, but does wireless work NO! Why? They cant tell me without sending an engineer, have they sent one? No although I have requested one several times, Have they recieved my payment - ABSOLUTELY NOT! I have made it quiet clear I refuse to pay for a service that doesnt deliver. My advice if your thinking of joining BT Broadbant DON'T! I would however like to hear from anyone who has had success with this service but I havent spoke to anyone who has as of yet, everyone I have talked to on the matter have had to purchase seperate independent routers. Look forward to any stories there might be out there. Cheers :)

Sorry to hear of your problems. Been with BT Broadband for almost a year now. For the first month or so we had problems as the hub kept resetting itself, but since then there has been no problems and the wireless network is working fine for 2 laptops and a PC

I was with BT and I had so many problems with them, the worst is getting through to their technical help, no disrespect to Indians but what I hate is BT having their call centres in India! As if they don't earn enough already, they can't understand you and you can't understand them, and trying to explain what the problem is, well my blood level shot up every time, and I use a Mac which complicates things further. I was glad to get shot of them, they are expensive and sooo much hassle. I was glad to end the contract after a year of them never ever again. I am now with Sky very very cheaper and so much better and the customer services are in Scotland, woooohooo! Not overseas. I refuse to support companies that have their call centres abroad.
