Other than cleaning the toilets what is your least favorite household chore? Laundry, Kitchen?, trash?, making beds? Mine would have to be emptying the dishwasher. It takes all of 5 mins. or less but I hate it, dread it, put it off.... What's yours?

Of all of the chores that I least like, it would have to be cleaning the refrigerator out. It seems to take so long. You need to remove all of the contents, wash the shelves, drawers, sides and top of the refrigerator. After you toss out the food that has gone bad you have to wash out the containers. Some of the containers that hold condiments often need to be spotted cleaned. Funny how you never notice that they have something running down the side of the bottle when it is placed in the fridge, but when you clean out the fridge there it is! Once everything is spotless you have to return the items to the fridge. Ho Hum. I have better things to do. This is why I am so glad that hubby hasn't found a job yet! He can do this mundane task!

I have found that irons make a good door stopper!

Oh yuck I agree that is a very ugly job. My hubby would never even think of wiping off the jelly jar or juice container. I have to constantly keep up on the science experiments. Once a week before trash day it's an adventure. Ironing- I am allergic to that one.... I send it to the dry cleaners. I did however by a fabric steamer and I must say I do kind of enjoy that- it doesn't take less time just something different than standing over an ironing board. Caution: DO NOT use the steamer in a small room that has a smoke alarm in it LOL. Thanks for your comments good to see you as always.

My least favourite chores are cleaning the oven and ironing. I especially dislike ironing in the summer when you have to stand all that time in the heat, with the heat of the iron making you even hotter. The oven, I dislike all the time. lol. Brightest Blessings.

Ugggh yup that's a nasty one... see my comment below about the fabric steamer I bought. I sorta think it helps the overall attitude associated with ironing.

Hi my friend, it is so good to hear from you again. Hope all is well. As for your post, you know I am not a big fan of those little instruction labels they put on the shirts telling you to "USE A COOL IRON" so ironing is one of the things I dread doing.

It's got to be cleaning the oven for me - I put it off as long as I can and then my oven is so bad, it takes me ages to clean it! I absolutely hate cleaning it. If I did it more regularly, the job wouldn't be as bad, I know, but that's human nature for you!

I hear you on that- I "Con" my housekeeper into doing that chore once in awhile, I have to pay her extra but it's so worth it to me. Good to see you dear I hope you've been well and happy there down under....
