I really like to make taco salad because Mexican food is my favorite. I also like to make lasagna sometimes too.

I love to cook. There's nothing like the ooohs and aahhs people give from good cookin'. Quick, easy meals are fun, but I enjoy preparing huge meals too. I think my most favorite is Turkey and Dressing with all the fixins'. We enjoy it so much we have it often, not just at thanksgiving. I love to bake too. I even make my own bread and I make my own butter as well. French Dip sandwiches and Philly Beef and Swiss Sandwiches are a favorite. Fast, easy and pretty cheap. Veggie platters are good too, and healthy. Soups and stews are quick and easy and full of nutrition. Grilled fish is another favorite of ours. There's not a food I ever met that I didn't like.

I think one of my favorite dishes would be this Mexican casserole dish that my bf's mom made for him. She gave us the recipe and I made it one night. I was hesitant to try it as I don't like trying to many new foods. You fry one pound of hamburger (drain the grease) and season. Then you add ranch style beans and diced tomatoes. Salt, Pepper, Garlic, and Chili Powder. Let that simmer for a few minutes. Meanwhile, Take out a baking dish and layer with Dorito's. After the mixture is done simmering you pour that over the top of the dorito's and add shredded cheese over the top. Place in oven on 300 until cheese is melted. Remove and serve. (Not the healthiest quick meal but it's yummy)
