I have began to realize that using my last name as a poster has made people think I am a guy. wellsad to say I am very much a woman, first name Patsie,I hate it but it is my name. Hatley is just my last name it does not mean guy or man just the last name of a senior citizen who is also a female. wonder if anyone else has goofed that way? I never thought that people would assume I was a he. should have used Patsie I guess I don't think any man would be named that.

oh Hatley! I thought you were a woman - that liked hats! I wonder if your trouble would be eased if you chose an avatar picture - hmmm, maybe a hat in Red Hat society style? flaming red with a purple feather?

I have to be honest, I did think you were a male, I am sorry but the name Hatley makes me think male, and when people don't have their pics in their avatar then, I know you shouldn't assume but I am glad to meet you Patsie, Hatley is a nice name. I guess if I didn't have me as my avatar would you think wolfie was a masculine or feminine name? Be honest. I think it's more male because when you think of a wolf you think male don't you?

Hi! Patsie! nice to know you. Is there any difference whether you were called on as he. Most of us dont know the sexes of those whom we are discussing with. But never mind as long as the discussion is going great. My pen name also will not give you justification whether I am a she or he, but in some discussions you will determine my gender.

hi bagumbayan guess it does not matter too much as a lot of my discussions and responses are going to sound feminine anyway

My last name is rico, so by just hearing that people would think that i am a guy, thus i use some pseudo-name for them to know that in a way i am a girl. :D
