If you could hire someone for a day who would it be? Personally I'd hire a painter and decorator we are in the middle of a pretty big paint job here in our house and I am soooo sick of it. I know that a professional would walk in and probably get the job done in a day whereas at the rate me and hubby are going we're going to be lucky to get it done in year LOL. So money no object who's services would you hire for a day?

Awww... just for a day? Hmm... I'd probably hire a nanny/cook/maid all rolled into one. If that isn't possible, then I guess I'll just choose the nanny. Why a nanny? Simple! I'd like to hire a nanny so I'd be able to leave the kids with someone who knows how to take care of them and I wouldn't be worried in leaving them behind... given that the nanny is a really good one. :) Hiring a nanny for a day would give me some "mommy time out" which I look at as a luxury these days.

To be able to leave the kids with someone you trust is wonderful. In truth occasional "mommy time out" isn't really a luxury its an essential for both yours and your kids sanity (can't you bribe hubby for a day lol)

Just had a thought I worked as a nanny/housekeeper many moons ago maybe if you can decorate we could "trade places" they say a change is as good as a rest lol

I would hire a fitness instructor for the day so he could give me some valuable tips about the quickest way to lose weight and to gain muscle. He would make sure I was lifting weights with the correct technique and so I wouldn't be injuring myself. I would get him to give me a good diet plan so that I would be eating the right quantities of proteins and carbohydrates. I would want him to set me a training programme which would maximise my strengths and to give me the best benefit and to get advice of what not to do and some great tips.

Hmmm I'd need more than a day with a fitness instructor I can just imagine me after he'd let sitting in a chair munching on a bar of chocolate contemplating all his wise word (maybe its a motivational coach that I need lol)

I would hire a maid. I hate to clean and if I could hire a maid to throughly clean my house then maintaining it would be a breeze. The thing is I would try to hire her so that she comes out once a week for some other stuff other then the bear basics.

LOL my house is so bad at the moment with all the upheaval from the decorating I wouldn't dare invite someone else in! But you are right if you can get the house straight it seems so much easier to keep on top of it. One things that always amuses me is if you have a party you tidy like crazy just so people can come round and trash the place ...... we are weird us humans

I definitely would consider hiring a maid and have plans to do so once I get rid of the clutter. I want to hire someone to come in every few months and really give my apartment a good cleaning.

It would take a little more often than every few months to keep our place clean we are both so chaotic and clutter bunnies

I would hire an organizer - someone that would help me get though all the boxes of stuff that I have so I could get rid of it or keep it more organized where I could find it easier.

One of the plusses of emigrating to the states was being forced to get rid of all the collected "junk" of forty years. Apart from clothes I only brought three boxes of "stuff" mainly photos and CD's. I started trying to sort stuff but in the end got incredibly ruthless and threw almost everything out have had very few regrets and has made me much less of a hoarder now - I KNOW you can't take it with you.

I think I would hire a construction worker, so they can come redo my bathroom. Enlarging it to house a big whirlpool tub, and a two man shower in it. However, I am sure a project like that would take more than a day to do. A woman can dream though.

My hubby is quite good with plumbing and the like (he actually built this house many years ago) he's just not good at the finishing touches (do men ever notice them). Personally I have never fancied a whirlpool tub but would kill for a bath that I could actually stretch out in full length - it's on hubby's list lol. The joy of professionals is they work so fast as opposed to us amateurs that you probably could get it done in a long day ..... dream on it's what life is made of.

I'm definitely gonna hire an Interior Decorator for our house. I was always the one to think what changes has to be made on our 52 year old house. I guess its high time that we get someone to do the thinking this time.

An interior decorator would be wonderful although I have much more adventourous ideas than my hubby when it comes to decorating I am not truly brave like a pro would be. ....... and you could always blame the decorator whereas now I'm gonna be to blame if this re-model looks ghastly lol

Well personally if I had to hire someone for a day it would have to be probably a real estate genious to teach me how everything works and how to make serious money by being a real estate agent...because if i were to do that I wouldn't have to worry any longer because I would know how to make money and alot of the money..so thats who id hire

I must say the real estate business certainly seems to be one where making money is possible and one I wouldn't mind either though a prerequisite for me would be hiring a driving instructor to teach me to drive LOL
