Road Rage at it's Worst!

A woman here in Minnesota was making a legal U-turn on a highway and a guy in a truck started honking and signaling her to pull over. I think she probably misjudged the speed of the traffic and was too slow pulling out. Anyway, she pulled over and the jerk started swearing at her, yanked her out of her car, broke her cell phone, then picked her up and threw her into oncoming traffic in the middle of the highway! Fortunately, no one hit her, but she was injured. The worst part is that the jerk got away because everyone was so concerned about the woman that no one got his license number before he sped off! This is an outrage! There was a woman and 2 children in the truck with him. I just pray that someone turns him in.

I find this hard to believe. If this really happened, my first question I have is why did the woman pull over? Secondly, the man, if caught should be charged with attempted murder because of tossing the woman onto incoming traffic. Another fact I have a hard time believing is that there was no one other than them who witnessed the incident and intervened. I mean, I know at least somebody would stop and come to the defense of the woman. This happened on a highway! -Feel Free to Disagree!

She definitely should not have pulled over, in fact, that is what they are saying on the news. Call 911, but keep driving! She pulled over because she wanted to apologize. One woman stopped and got out to stop traffic and a man helped by picking her up and carrying her to the shoulder. I guess there were about 10 people helping, but they were more concerned with the woman's safety and the guy just took off before anyone had a chance to get more info. I'm sure there had to be someone out there who saw enough to help ID this guy. I do agree with what you are saying though.

I know but I used to work as a nurses aid in a hospital and we had a young woman whose husband had tried to kill her by throwing her off the bridge over a freeway. she amazingly enough had lived but was badly hurt with some terrific skull fractures. she was so glad to be alive and worked so hard to learn to talk again. one day she managed to say hello to me my nickname was pat she said hil lo tap and we all clapped even if it was not quite rightl she was tryin god bless her. he got away even with all sorts of witnesses but a month or so later with enough eye witness descriptions they caught him on his way to Mexico. so bizarre things do sometimes happen how she managed to live through that was amazing she landed on the hood of a car and the driver managed to stop before she fell off. I did not believe it at first either but I was party to the police questioning her and it was all too true. I even wrote a short story about this called Hi lo Tap but of course never got it published. sigh.

That is terrible. That poor woman. We all make mistakes and that includes when we are driving. The thing is its usually the worst drivers that have the road rage.

Wow...I'd be worried about the woman and children too with a man that has that kind of temper. I can't believe that no one bothered to get his plate number or anything. I hope they find him. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

How could he do something like this and no one paid attention at least to what happend. I hope that guys wife turns him in. Sure it will be hard for her but his wife is a witness to what he did to that woman. How horrifying for that woman. Thank God no one hit her.

Good grief! I can't even imagine someone stopping her and doing something like that. Why did she even stop? Why wasn't her door locked? If he was obviously agitated and coming towards her vehicle, couldn't she have got her door locked before he could get to her? I know it's not her fault, but gosh, I can't imagine she wouldn't try to protect herself. I hope he's found and prosecuted. He sure doesn't need to be running the streets.

There was a video of her on the newspaper website. I guess this happened on Monday and she was released from the hospital on Thursday, which is why it was in the news. She definitely made a bad judgement call because he was actually walking away from her and SHE got out of her car and followed him back to his truck because she was trying to be the better person and he never gave her the chance to apologize. She said that when she did the U-turn, she swerved in front of him. He was mad because she nearly hit him and he had kids in the car. Even if she was at fault, no one was harmed and he had no right to do that to her. But yeah, she was also stupid for getting out in the first place. I would have just kept driving.

Wow! That's outrageous. If they catch him they should put him up for attempted murder. It's a miracle that the woman wasn't killed by the oncoming traffic. I sure hope they catch the guy too. Some human behavoir towards other humans will never cease to amaze me.

This reminds me of an incident I saw or mostly heard about while buying groceries in Ralphs two young ladies, both rather pretty, were phoning the police. seems a jackass in a porsche was making obscene gestures at them and finally made it frighteningly apparent he was stalking them. they got off the freeway and pulled into the first shopping center they came to and found the telephone in Ralphs the jerk had the stupidity to actually follow those two frightened girls into that center but the girls had given a good description of the idiot even his license number and the police arrived in a few minutes and I watched as they arrested the jackass in the new car with the expensive clothes and the stupidity to harass two scared but intelligent young women.I felt like clapping as I watched them load Mr.Idiot into their patrol car.I think somebody did clap. Bt I felt so sorry for those two they were just kids maybe seventeen or eighteen. I was a middle aged lady at that time but was so glad at how it turned out.

I just can't understand why people do things like this. Sure, I've verbally gone off on people before, but I could never physically harm someone or even threaten them, even I never meant to follow through.
