What do you think of Arsene Wenger's statement?

According to Arsene Wenger, Arsenal Manager, for the past 3 years Arsenal team has committed less fouls than any other teams and the team (Arsenal) who is punished the most in the league. Do you believe in his statement? I am not siding on any team in particular but I disagree with Arsene Wenger's statement. To me Arsenal is one of the team that play rough football. Obviously Arsenal will be very emotional when they played against good team like Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea. Take for instant, when Arsenal played against Manchester United last season, the players play rough and tried to provoke Man U players but Man U didn't buy their game and they managed to control their emotion, Man U won the game.
As a manager I respect Arsene Wenger but his tactic is very dirty for his players and to me his bring bad influence to football world. What do you think?

Arsene Wenger's statement might be pushing the truth a bit far, but one thing is very clear. For the past 3 years, Arsenal has played the game most beautifully and they have won nothing!! This shows that in today's professional football playing beautiful would not achieve anything. Clubs play dirty and win... Look at Chelsea under Mourinho... once they were 1-0, they would shut shop... Man U have been a bit of middle of the road between Arsenal and Chelsea and have both entertained and ground results.

I don't know which sports magazines you refer to, but I have seen most of Arsenal's matches over the past 5 years and they have played some of the best football over the last 5 years. Their slick passing and one touch football is at times unbelievable.
Of course, they have played a few dirty matches and I do not say that they don't at all, but they also play beautiful football.

I don't quite agree with you that Arsenal game was the most beautiful game. All the teams play play well including the bottom team like Derby County however any team that conceived goal will win the game. If you refer to most Sport magazines and website, the teams that play dirty games are Arsenal and Chelsea. Remember Arsenal attacked Manchester players for nothing but Manchester's players didn't buy their attacked and ignored them in 2 matches? Then Arsenal hauled at Liverpool's players last season? They even plat rough and robust against Chelsea but Chelsea retaliated the last 2 season. Arsenal is a good team however they are lack of discipline and cannot control their temper in the field especially playing good teams like Chelsea, Manchester U and Liverpool. With that I must say Arsene Wenger is not a good coach or manager. Anyway, thanks for your comment.

As a Liverpool fan I have to agree in some parts with Wenger.
Arsenal are probably the most fouled team, they are the target of physical teams, because other teams know they prefer a passing game.
Arsenal players though get frustrated and in the big games if things aren't going for them, especially with games against Man U and occasionally Chelsea they hit or kick out and get punished. This though is rare for Arsenal, but brings them into the limelight

Hi Mrtimharry,
You are wrong about one thing and even Wenger disagree with you.
According to Wenger (ESPN STAR Sport), within the last 3 years Arsenal has the least committed foul team in the Premiership league and you said the MOST fouled team. You are contracting Wenger's statement and yet you agree with him?
I do agree with Wenger that for the last 3 years Arsenal is the team that have less foul yet in the record Arsenal is the team that always fight with other players. It should be the other way round and this is to prove that Arsenal always escape being punished by the referee. In fact last year one English commentator wrote about why Arsenal get better treatment from the ref over the other teams. A few managers responded to the article. Thanks for your comment.

Am sure Wenger said that his team had committed the least number of fouls, whilst his team were the most fouled.

Yes I disagrre with wenger to,How He can came up with the statistics??, I don't think the sources are reliable.. And I still remembered when Arsenal meet ManU last season..How they played dirty football.
The manager with His calibre, not supposed to say anything like that...
