I'm Back......and it's not been good while I was away.

Hi all my old friends...and also new ones.
I haven't been here for so long...I have tried but it seems that tragedy is waiting to happen every time I give it a try.
I was on last june 07 just after my friends mom died and my best friends son was killled. Well I went to Washington for a month to help her. I spent alot of time depressed after that. Now my other best friend that you may know as "Weenitsmom" has died of a heart attack 2 weeks ago at the young age of 46. I couldn't go out to Washington for the funeral as I just don't have the money. Now my friend that lost her son is moving back to Mass. in April. I may have to drive her here we don't know yet if she is going to ship her things or rent a truck. I am still out of work on disability. I have had no internet connection for a month now because my ding dong brother had his router connected wrong and I thought my computer was malfunctioning...well I got a new laptop and that's how I found the error with the router.....lol oh well. So who is still here? nd what have you been up to?

HUGS! You sound as though you may need it. Things don't be seem to be going good for alot of us. My husband hasn't been working since December and no money is coming in except what I make online which isn't much. Thankfully for my mom and brother helping us out with some bills to help us keep them on. Which we have to pay back when we get on our feet again. Which I pray is soon. I am sorry to hear about your friends passing it is never easy to lose someone close to you. I pray that things will start looking up for you and that you will be able to get back up on your feet and things will be okay again.. That is a long drive I hope that you will be up for it.But it be good to have your friend closer again. Well welcome back and I hope to see you from time to time in the postings here at mylot and hope that you will be okay.

Hey mari,Wow If all that was wrong with me I don't know if I would be want to get out of the bed in the morning. I love seeing new places and travelling some. I just don't advise greyhound buses. Lord I took a trip out ot visit my parents in New mexico and swore I wouldn't do it again it was so far, but I went back, although it was to help my mom move back. So it was worth it then. Hey Congrats! on all that weight lost. I wish I could get my butt into gear and start losing. Maybe with the warmer weather coming in soon it might temp me to get out and start walking. I hope your back will hold up to such a long drive. I know it will be painful for you possibly because my sister in law tells me hers makes driving long distances painful. Well,again welcome back great to see and hear form you. Stay strong and you will go far.Hugs!

Thanks...I hope my back holds out too,,,lol I'll bring plenty of pain pills just in case. Good luck to you with your weight loss. I know how difficult it is. I try to eat only one actual meal and just a couple of snacks of fruit inbetween when I get hungry....alot of fruit...lol

Yes it's a long drive but there is so much to see on the way that it is kind of a little vacation. I don't know for sure yet if I am going to have to drive her. I hope she decides quickly as it's only a month away...lol My health has been about the same. I had cellulitis and an abscess a month or so ago. My back has been bad since aug. 07. I have 3 herniated discs, spinal stenosis and arthritis...what joy. I have had 3 shots and nothing has helped yet...But I have lost 100lb since last year, so that's good.
I hope you get up and running soon, I know how it is with no income. Blessed Be

OMG It was weenits, who told me about the situation you've been to last year!:( Oh my, this is really saddening..
I remember we were chatting that time, maybe that's why I haven't seen her that active anymore on my Yahoo! Messenger. I'm really very sorry to hear this news, she's been a good friend to me too (though we only get to chat on the net). She gave me advise and taught few good things about life and people, please give my condolences on her family..

I have missed you too. I am sorry to tell you of Cam's passing. It was on Feb 17th. She tried to call for the ambulance but she was unresponsive when they arrived. It's just so sad. I hoope all is well with you.

It was quite a shock to all of us..... :( She is probably having a great time while we all sit here sad and gloomy...I hope anyway.

I am happy to see you back Mari. I am so sad to hear of all your losses. Thank you for letting us know about weenitsmom. I never would have known.
I wish more people from days gone by would pop back in. You connect with people, they become a part of your life. It is difficult to have them drop off and leave you wondering where they are and how they are doing.

I am glad to be back and know people that are still here and or back...lol I try to check in every day but I do so much reading and so little responding...hehe I just don't feel I am adding much to many of the things I read..or it's already been said..which really bites when you read 6 pages of responses and then can't really respond.

Mari, I am sorry for your friend losses. I am still here of course. I am not up to much, but still work two jobs at least part of the time. We have people coming and going on myLot, often they come back. We of course welcome you back.

Oh Mari, it is sooooo nice to see you back! I too, left for a bit and have only recently returned. The school year finds me so busy that my time on myLot (and other favorite sites) is limited. It sounds like you have had a lot on your plate during your absence. I am sorry for the loss of your friend and your other friends' loved ones. I imagine you are emotionally drained trying to be of support to them. I do hope you took care of yourself through the ordeals. Oh I'm so glad you came back, I was wondering if you were still here. I'm getting through it as much as I can. Now I just got news that one of my friend's is losing his aunt that he has been taking care of. She has been sick in a nursing home for many years, but it's still sad. {{{{hugs}}}

Welcome back. It is good to see you again. It sounds like you have had a very rough way to go. I am glad to see you are pulling though it though. I was away from Mylot also for about 6 months. I was trying to work alot of my other online programs and just never did find the time to come to Mylot. I am trying very hard to sepnd more time here now though. The extra money is nice also since all of my earnings are from home.

I think alot of it is talking with friends and every day life, and the earnings are also nice too.
