I personally have to have a cellphone, I dont like the feeling of being away without one. Maybe I'm afraid I'm going to miss something, but not only that I like it for emergency purposes! How about everyone else, if it came down to it could you go without?

Personally, my husband and I, this is our only form of communication with the outside world as we do not have a regular phone in our home, and only rely on our Cellphones. I Love having the capability of being able to screen calls when I am at work, and to be able to reach out and call someone anywhere I might be, especially in the case of an Emergency. We never go anywhere without our Cellphones, and personally I feel this is one of the Best inventions they have ever personally made.

I could because I don't have one! I'm 27 and I've never had a cell phone. Now don't get me wrong, I would like to have one, and it would be safer for me to have one. But I can't afford it. I know there are Tracfones, but it just isn't in my budget right now. I have a feeling though if I had a cell phone, I would get just attached to it as everyone else seems to do.

I could live without my cell phone but I mainly use mine to text my husband when I have an emergency or something like that. Sometimes he texts me from work also to make sure I am ok since we both work nights. I think it is great to have one since he works nights outside of the home and I have lovely dialup. I can't use my home phone while online working.

I lock mine in the truck of the car for weeks on end. I could absolutely live without it and especially without the people, who unlike you, I am sure, cannot modulate their voices when on one. It is especially annoying when when you b ite into a nice hot sandwich in a restaurant and are about to chew when someone 3 tables over screams "Hello" so loud you practically drop your lunch in your lap.

I don't have regular line at home, my call phone is for my work and for my private calls. I need my cell phone during the week and only for an emergency use on weekends. On weekends I only call my family and try to deal without phone calls.

I have a cell phone but very rarely use it - actually it's one of those pay as you go ones and I haven't had time on it for several months, close to a year. It seems everyone I know can't live without theirs so guess I just figure if there's an emergancy I can use theirs - other wise I don't care to be bothered...

I could not live without my cell phone. If I didn't have kids or a mother I worried about, then I probably could. But because I am afraid of breaking down in the car with the kids, or if the kids need me while in school and I am not home, etc.... Because of these reasons - I love my cell phone.... Now, because I hate being bothered sometimes (not that I don't love my friends dearly) but sometimes people assume because you have a cell phone and it is normally with you - you should be answering it. Grr..Sometimes I wish I could just throw it out the car window!! lol

Since I got you your first cell phone when you graduated high school, you have pretty much had one since, except when I had to suspend service recently because I couldn't afford to pay the bill anymore. I will turn it back on for you on Friday. I will split the first months bill with you as your birthday gift. As for me, I couldn't live without my cell now, since I am hardly ever home. The only reason I have a land line is to use it as dial up to get on the internet.
