Carrots makes your skin orange???!!!

is it true that eating too much carrots makes your skin look orange for a couple of hours? or is it just a myth?

Too many carrots can make your skin turn yellow-orange. It is a reversible condition. Within a few weeks your skin will return to normal if you stop eating carrots. You have to eat a LOT of carrots for this to happen. My sister used to juice 5 carrots every morning and her skin started to turn a little bit yellow-orange, so she cut back to every other day.

Yes it is true, but carrots are really healthy, so the benefits surely outweigh any temporary inconvenience. Besides it is really pretty hard to eat enough carrots to do that, at least on a regular basis.

Yes, but you don't see the changing so much. And you need to eat *a lot* of carrots! But carrots are useful to your eyes, and in summer you can eat them to bronze more...
