have you ever eaten the same food for a few days straight?

Hi secret, I don't think I ever ate the same kind of food for many days. It can be boring eating the same thing day-after-day. I prefer variation. However, I won't get bored with my all-time favorite cheesecake. There was a time that I got so addicted with it. It took me about a month before finally calling it a quit. I'm thinking about diabetes, lol!

its not boring, its tiring! can't think of the English term but its "nakakaumay"! i wonder how long the Pompano in the fridge would last. imagine our freezer full of pompano. and the container below still has some pompano. a lot eh? .

Yes...one time the two youngest of my kids were gone to visit grandpa and grandma and my oldest and I were here alone. I bought a very expensive cheesecake and we didn't want to throw one morsel away so we ended up fighting over who HAD to eat the last peice! LOL

No I haven't eaten the same foods for several days in a row. We do eat alot of leftovers but try to space a day between the next time it's eaten. This way we don't get bored with the same dish. I have eaten fried Pompano and it's a wonderful fish. It's been many years ago but I never forgot the flavor. My mouth waters just thinking about it.

Many years ago I briefly lived in Lauderdale by the Sea. My parents moved there but it didn't work out. While we were living there we ate Pompano. It's just a great tasting fish. My mother fried it.

really? you have tasted pompano too? I'm glad to know that. its really delicious but I don't suggest to eat it continuously for a few straight days. its kinda sickening. ^__^;; my mother is also already sick of it too. we've already given a lot to our neighbors but there's a lot more left. I'm just lucky that I won't have to eat it this whole week. I hope its already gone by the time I come home in the coming weekend. ^__^

"Variety Is The Spice of Life" my friend. No, I would not and could not eat the same meal for four days on he trot. I would feel short of energy, tired and lethargic, and to say the least, p'd of with it!!! I would rather have some microwave meals in my freezer, and just pop them in for a few minutes, if I didn't want to leave my computer. Then again, I couldn't not get up and break from my computer several times a day, because I would get the same feelings, plus I would be very stiff and unfit. I like to get out in the open air often, if only to wander up the garden. It keeps me alert and gives me peace of mind, to be at one with nature. Using the computer 24/7, would only ruin my life, and tire me of that. So, you see, you need the variety, and the saying is quite accurate. Brightest Blessings.

for someone who easily gets bored, I very well know what that saying means. ^__^ I can't stay using or doing the same thing again and again. with food, I can tolerate repetition for a few days but not that long. it was a good thing that this morning, it wasn't pompano but fried eggplant and dried fish are our food. ^__^

Sometimes I have no problem eating the same thing for 2-3 days. I really like left-over and when I really have a big portion I can eat it 2-3 days in a row, espacially if it's pasta or my mom chicken rice.

I guess it also depends on what food it is. if its our favorite then it would be okay for us to eat it for a few days straight. but then, there kinds of foods that we get sick of even with just a few servings. like too sweet desserts, or something like that. I guess with pompano, its too delicious and too tasty that's why I got tired of it after a few days. ^__^

hi roni! so you love bangus huh? bangus is also a "suki" in our table. may it be fried, "paksiw", or "sinigang". i also love bangus but its just so hard to eat it because of its bones! i'm a fisheries graduate but i'm never really a master of deboning my bangus. well, i got an excuse, its not really my major. but i've been eating bangus a lot and i'm starting to memorize where the bones are. ^__^;;

The one food I could eat over and over again is pizza because there are several different kinds. I could start with thin crust one day and then have pan pizza the next.

That's me alright. I get into one thing for days at a time. That's my thing I crave then. In college it was spicy food and noodles. Now, I can barely eat noodles. Spicy food is still a good one though.

I think i will vomit if i will to eat the same thing again after 2 days or so =D

you should be thankful you're not in my shoes kun! our fridge is still full of pompano. we've tried every type of cooking using the fish but its just already sickening. ^__^;; i mean, we are thankful that we were given that expensive fish, it made us saved a lot in our budget, but its just too tiring to eat the same thing over and over again. .

Hello secretbear :) Yeah, I once had mcdonald's cheeseburger for 4 straight days. I love it!! When I'm out, I'd rather have it than go to a fine dining restaurant. I could eat that everyday, yummy hehe :). When I had a cheeseburger, I make sure I eat less that day, just water and veggies (consider the body-figure always! ^__^ ) take care :)

i had yellow-fin fish for lunch and supper during the whole summer vacation last year. it's my best favor and i wouldn't enjoy it once i came back to school where is long away from my hometown and run short of yellow-fin fish. maybe that's why i never be sick of it.

Hello secretbear! Yes I already ate the same food for breakfast for five straight days last week....eeooowwwwwwwwwww... I don't know how they call it here but it was baked flour with some vegetable. I can't complain because it was company's food, everybody eats it including the boss. I'm just praying that this week will make a difference.

All the time, it's called leftovers and I eat the same exact thing for about three days in a row. I hate to waste food so if I have left over food I eat it until it's gone even if it takes a couple days to finish. It started when I was growing up my mother bad a big dinner on Sundays so we had left overs for the next few days.

My mom makes the BEST salmon patties with home made tartar sauce she made some the other day (actually my sister did but they tasted the same) they are my favorite food ever and I got to take some home with me. I had them for dinner at her house brought some home and ate them off and on the whole next day, by the time I was gonna go to bed I thought I was gonna puke lol. Now when I look at them in the fridge my stomach turns, I better freeze them for my next "salmon patty attack".
