Monkeys?

Has anyone here on mylot seen or had an experience with monkeys?I went to a hillstation in India and saw a whole bunch of them.We fed them peanuts which they tucked into their jaws and came back for more.They were friendly though I did see a group that was present on top of roofs who did not look so happy.
Any similar experiences?

I've never seen Monkeys outside of a zoo,with the possible exception of Gibraltar's Barbary Apes,but it's recommended that you don't get close to them! One had got on top of a tour bus and seemed quite content getting a lift someplace!

I have seen monkeys at elephanta caves in india.they were just sitting and watching us.my sister showed her tongue to the monkey.it started pulling her hair.then some people came and shooed the monkey off.I have seen monkeys at a government office.i saw a big monkey carrying a female small monkey.
