Have you ever come to a strange place where you knew you had not been before then suddenly feel you had been there before? It happened to me when I was in my twenties and on a trip through Colorado with my parents. we stopped in this small town, I do not remember its name now, to have something to eat. I said to my parents, theres a cafe down this street around the corner named Drop In They both looked at me like I was nuts and we found the place and it was named that. As we left the waitress looked at me and said very low, hello Patsie how have you been? I do not know how she would know my name or how I knew the name of that cafe or that somehow I had been there before when I knew I had not. It was puzzling and a bit frightening both.I still have no valid answer for this.

That's interesting.Same thing happened to me sometimes, but mine is a little defferent .when I went to a strange place,it always occured to me like I had been there before.Everything looked so familiar to me ,in fact I had never been there before. The strange thing is ,I always felt that I had been there in my dreams.

I know what you mean because I have felt the same way a lot of times even though I knew I had never been there before.

Sure I have. I think we all have. There is a big name for this behavior. It just eludes me at the moment. But yes, I think most people will experience this. I have too.

you made me remember a dream I had once where I and my family had had car trouble on a trip and had been shown to a particular house on a particular street to stay there with permission of the absent owner. the dream was so vivid I remembered the name of the street and the number of the house and the fact that a large baseball field belonging to a highschool was adjacent to the house. so okay I found out that there was a town by the name of the town in my dream and a street by the name of the street in my dream and a house by the same number of the house in my dream but what was really puzzling was that a writer lived there and she had just started on a book where a family was starting across california on a trip had car trouble and had been given permission to stay in a house owned by someone who was out of town. this really has puzzled me to no end. i did not know that writer or had I ever read anything she wrote and at the time I was living in Arizona. so I never have understood why I had that dream.

This is all about reincarnation. Its obvious that you lived in this town in your last life. You and the waitress had been friends. You must have passed over early in that life. I'm a yogi and during Meditation I have seen several of my past lives. I have never had such an experience as yours, but I have heard of such things ocurring. There are many books written about pastlives and reincarnation. They are available at your book store or library.

Yes I had thought about that. I do not know much about reincarnation but can surely do some reading.

I get de ja vu but never anything like this. It usually just feels like I had already done the thing I was doing or been to the place I was at. But Ive never had anyone call me by name or anything like that. Its weird how de ja vu works. It sometimes freaks me out.

it also freaked me out and my parents did not know what to make of the whole thing. I have had that feeling before of having been someplace before quite often
