1. TaiPei Sounds like an interesting place to visit. And a place very different from here 2. Some small pacific islands For the peace and quiet, the sun and the sea 3. Kansas To see my old friends that I miss a lot and have not seen in 20 years 4. New Zealand To see old friends and to get a chance to see more of the country. Our last visit was too short 5. Samoa is now on my list:-) I only got to see the North Island when we went to New Zealand. We went there for a wedding. We had an exchangestudent from New Zealand in the early ninthies, and had promised her to come to her wedding. We had not seen her for 10 years, and had never met her family, so we spendt most of our time visiting with them. We went for some sightseeing on the North Island and I think it was fascinating. The landscape was not so different from here in Norway, but the plants and animals and birds were so different. So much too see. Craters of the moon, hot springs, waterfalls. I really need to go there again.

I like your choices very much. I loved my visits to the South pacific Islands and Samoa is my favorite of these. Many people tend to rush New Zealand because it looks small but there is so much to see. I liked Northland most. How about you? It is always lovely to see old friends. I haven't been to South America yet and would really love to.

My top five places would be New Zealand, a country that has always fascinated me Sweden, I have never been to Scandinavia and have always fancied going there Turkey, all my friends and family have been there and said it's a wonderful hotspot for beach holiday Southern Ireland, so close to home I would love to see how green everywhere was and the scenery Slovenia, my friend has been there and he always goes back there and recommends it to me.

Yes, you would love the natural beauty of New Zealand. You could see dolphins and penguins there. Sweden had the lovely city of Stockholm and pretty countryside dotted with lakes. I liked the beaches of Turkey when I went there out of the tourist season. I saw magical Lake Bled in Slovenia and know that you would love it there. Southern Ireland is beautiful and so close to home.

I can easily name you a dozen places I'd love to visit, but my top five will be: a. Switzerland - One of the most beautiful and picturesque countries I've seen. I'd love to go up to the mountains in the Alps. The last time I was there, I went up to Mt. Titlis, which is about 10,000 ft in altitude. b. New Zealand - Another beautiful country, vast expanse of greenery, lakes, mountain scenery, and sheep sheep everywhere.. c. USA - Been there once, and it's hardly enough. So much fun and excitement taking in the sights and theme parks. Lots of traveling though because of the vast expanse of the country. d. England - I've been to several parts of England twice, and just love the rolling hills and green pastureland. I also love London for it's cosmopolitan outlook, wonderful museums, parks and architecture. e. Australia - I've been to various parts of Australia most. Just love every place I have gone, especially Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney. Love the kangaroos too.

We like similar countries for I have been to add of the ones on your list. I loved being in stunningly beautiful New Zealand. The wildlife of Australia is great like the koalas, kangaroos and wallabies. I have only been to California and Hawaii and the USA is huge so there is lots more to see. There is no where like the pretty green fields of England. I like to see the old thatched cottages. Switzerland is so scenic with all its lovely mountains. Please add more places if you would like to and thanks for your excellent description.

Alaska - I've always wanted to go and tour Alaska. 5. Nova Scotia - I just want to take the Ferry from Bar Harbor Maine and enjoy the sea trip and then discover the Canadian coast. I like your choices. I have been to the Maldives and the islands are stunning. I went to Fiji as well and love the South Pacific Islands. I have been to San Diego. It is great to see friends that live far away. I would like to see the Canadian coast around Halifax too.

Only 5? That's tough! 1) New Zealand - because the scenery looks beautiful and I love the island climates 2) Singapore - because I want to see where my husband grew up 3) Nepal - I would love to see the mountains and Mt Everest 4) Austria - because it would be fun to trace my father's family history 5) The Netherlands - to trace my mom's family and see where my husband went to University Of course I could name dozens more, but those were the first 5 that came to mind.

Yes, just 5 is hard. You sound like 15 would be better for you. I loved seeing the scenery in wonderful New Zealand. I didn't think the climate was awfully warm. I have been to beautiful Austria and the pretty Netherlands. It would be interesting for you to find your mom's family and trace your dad's family. You could add another ten places if you like because I can see that you love traveling.
