I found a great website with examples of poses and I would like to know who can do these poses? The yoga poses are at http://bandhayoga.com/flyarounds.html Can you do some of these exercises or all of them? I have been to yoga class a few times and I do know a few of these poses or variations of them. Can you tell me what poses you like the best?

What a great site!!! Thanks for the link!! I love Yoga. It doesn't matter if I can get into the full pose right now or not... it is something to aim for and the whole journey getting there is so satisfying and rewarding and soothing. Hehehe, which ones I like the best. Hmmm. Whenever I try to come up with a brief routine, consisting of only my favorite poses, to use when I have limited time, I never succeed and always end up with a list that would take me 2 hours to get through! It's like they are all my favorites.

Wow! Thanks! I know it does not matter and it is the journey, just trying to start a discussion and see if anybody likes that site, with the examples in video form! Do you add to your yoga routine every now and then?

I have been missing this whole conversation! I remember that post, I was repeating the term one person wrote, and hoping to make it more clear in definition! I love to laugh and need no excuse to get another laugh in! I have created a few routines of my own, although not pure yoga, enough to get me started to stay somewhat fit! I wish I could remember all those yoga stretches that took my pain away so well! Dancing is fun too and goes well with yoga style exercise! What kind of music do you listen to while engaged in yoga practice?

I add to it, take away from it, rearrange it. Sometimes I don't even do it at all, although I try to dance or take a nice long walk instead. I also like jumping on my mini trampoline, I think it's called a 'rebounder'. Also, I wanted to comment to you on a post you made on another discussion a while back about 'going commando'. Hehehe... I sure love that term! And I am so pleased to have the info about it's origins! I wanted to comment to you on your own post but you hadn't left one, just a few comments, and I figured if I left a comment there you would never see it. Anyway, I had said as much in my own response so when I read your post I was happy to have my own view confirmed by the U.S military!!! Hahahaha!

Wow, what an awesome website! Thank you for that link. It is amazing to see the skeleton in those poses. I can do most of them, not completely, but modified of course. There are some that I don't even think I would attempt for at least a couple more years of practice. I love all the poses. I love yoga all together. It is such an amazing journey. I wish I had of started on it sooner than I did. I try to practice everyday, but sometimes I am not able to. I go to a studio at least 3-4 times a week and try to practice at home when I have time.

It is great after you have kids too! So many aches and pains go away, and your energy levels go up!

My hubby and I just viewed most of the positions and we have come to the conclusion that neither of us could make our body perform those positions. Our achy old knees wouldn't be able to take the stress.

I would also have trouble with anything that stressed the knees too much, but I think I can adapt some poses so that I could still do the pose without hurting myself more!

I can do most of these, some better than others though. There are 2 I haven't seen before though and I'm not sure if I could do them. My favourite poses are the cross legged as I find them the easiest or forward bends some are easy some aren't but I still like them.

I am glad that you are so flexible! It is neat to look at the poses in a different way!

I just looked at them and honestly I can do all but four. There were a few of the stretching ones that I can't do yet, but they look rather hard and like something I could do once I become more advanced.
