What are your favorite background noises?

It would have to be the gentle breeze. Somewhere at 2-5 MPH. Waves and waterfalls are nice sounding too.

I love the chirping bird in the trees, I also like the frog singing at night after rain. Luckily in my workplace I have all the beautiful background sound like the sound of the waves, the chirping birds and frog singing at night. Sometimes I hear the squirell too from the coconut trees. But the most beautiful of all that is the chirping birds... I love it..

I love the sound of the bird chirping early in the morning. The sound of the waves that tap the shore gently. The sound of the leaves when I walk on them. The sound of the rain on my window sil. Above all the sound of the wind that blows through the bamboos.

Waves and ocean are definitely a favorite. I love the beach! I love the sound of rain, depending on when and how cold i is. If I'm sitting in here shivering under an afghan, I just want it to go away and warm up! A gentle rain in spring is nice, though, and very cleansing. I also love to hear the birds singing outside my window here.

My favorite back ground noise is rain falling gently on a tin roof when I am trying to sleep. When I was a kid that would put me to sleep more than anything. I also love to hear Robins sing.

I could listen to rain falling on a tin roof for hours. I love the sounds of the beach. I bought a tape of both. My husband thought I was nuts until he listened to the rain and thunder on the tape. Now he loves it too. I also like the sound of a train in the distance.

I love the sound of the ocean, thats one of my favorite sounds but i also like the way it sounds when your in the middle of the woods and all you hear is the breeze,the birds and a creek.

I'm also a big fan of the rain. When I was staying in a cabin on vacation, I could hear the rain on the metal roof. It was secluded, so that was pretty much the only noise until I had a bear under my porch! I just like the sound of water rushing in general. There's something undeniably beautiful and powerful about the element.
