I cant believe it, the President that i didnt like (hes gained a lot of brownie points for me on this one) has decided to let marijuana criminals go, saying that if we caught all the marijuana smokers in America we would have to close off a few states for them, so he said why not let them go and leave those spots for real criminals, heres the link you have to read what he says, and Willie Nelson was the one that gave him the idea of all people, THANK YOU WILLIE NELSON I LOVE YOU MAN LOL this is so cool i wonder if its going to stick http://norml.com/ so what do you think about this?

Ok I have to disagree because I think they need to be punished to. Weather they beleive it should be illegal or not doesnt matter it is and they broke the law. But sometimes I think the penalties are not right I think it should be more suitable to the crime. Locking people up doesnt always do any good. Give them community service because at least then the community would benefit. Dont get me wrong I am not saying that if you smoke you are a criminal but if you break the law and get caught well you did something wrong then. I mean people can do what they want with there lives but to get caught you were probably being careless.

I agree most the pot smokers that get caught are the stupid ones that drive while smokeing or something, but at least this means that we are one step closer to more personal freedom. I am a pot smoker, but I know i will never get caught b/c i keep it responsible and behind closed doors, not in front of anyone that doesnt smoke (besides my fiance, but its his choice to walk in the bathroom when he knows that im smoking) So there is no chance of me getting caught, unless i got a search warrent but why would they want to get a search warrent on someone that never does anything to hurt anything, if you know what i mean.

Well becareful with that....I know from experiance my dad used to be cool about it till i took it too far and he tried to tell me and well he had no respect from me. I felt he couldnt sit there and be cool about it then turn on me I didnt listen. I plan to keep the communications open with my kids but will be clear that I dont want them doing it but they can tell me if it happens. My kids are only 7 and 8 so its not an issue yet thank god.

There's a stroke for the U.S. Constitution and just plain good sense! I think smoking pot (or taking it any other way) is pretty stupid, however decades of a ban have proven that it's worthless. Let them go. Now, what would be a great next step is to pass a law banning prison time for non violent offenders.

PS. Ok, "most" violent offenders. There are a few non violent crimes that should still land a person in prison.

Wow, imagine that! Common sense actually shows up in politics! Course I'm not waitin' for anything to actually come of it, whatever powerful lobby has kept it criminal, and feared in society, is way too big and powerful.. Nope, we better just keep letting child rapists get off with probation (or maybe a few months in jail so it doesn't look quite so bad) so we can separate from society, and keep society safe from the plant smokers.. - Why I even saw someone overdose once on pot. He fell right asleep on his sofa! I shoulda called the swat team right then.
