Do you catch the morning news for traffic in your area? We live in an area where there is high construction going on on major highways. Currently they are doing work on 2 sections of highway 40.So a good portion is closed down.Do you watch before you leave your home,or do you try and listen on the radio in your car?

Fortunately, I work only some 15 miles from where I live. As such, I am spared any desperate need to spend time watching the newscast before leaving. As I get up at 6am, watching TV before heading out the door might also be annoying to others in my house. There are mornings, where my wife volunteers to be the traffic news anchor. I'll get a call on my cell phone with my wife trying to warn me not to take one road or another. I think that's cute.

i don't really watch or listen to traffic news but i always arrive in the morning so early and there's a tv there and i often catch the traffic updates. i watch it even though it would be of no use for me since i already commuted going to the office. and then, the traffic news is always the same, same traffic at same area so i know what time i should go and how much time i should wait. i just watch the traffic news because the one reporting it is a funny reporter.

I always try to catch the morning news and traffic reports daily. WE live in an area also where they are planning to do some major construction also on the highways. I always try to hear what is going on before leaving. I want to know in advance.
