How long should a post be?

Ok, I know that Mylot prefers a discussion that isn't too short, but also I find that reading something that is 10 paragraphs long is sometimes too much for me and I'll just quit reading. I think the upper limit for me is about 10 sentences and maybe 2 or 3 paragraphs. Do you agree with me? If not what is your opinion?

I dont mind long posts, I will sit and read them what I avoid reading are those not even broken into paragraphs but are one long seemingly endless sentence, I find that hard to read and so normally give up. If something is interesting il read it so the legnth would not bother me but when its all in one long sentence so that you cant even look up without loosing your place I will give up then its too hard.

Yes, that is a good point, it also depends on if the writer makes it interesting.

Personally I won't read a very long post because it gets too confusing for me and I lose my train of thought easily. I try to keep it down to two paragraphs at the most and think that's enough to get a point across.

i think the post should be atleast 5-6 sentences.there is no limit to how long you can post here. but it should also be brief and to the point.Still some people here post one liners and get many responses too.I think Mylot have own ways to decide the earning.

when i was posting for a different site and being paid 7 cents a post, the post had to be about 30 words and while i dont actually count my words here, i generally aim for 3 or four lines of content to make my post.
