Stanley Kamel has passed away at 65 years old. He played Dr. Kroger, who was so great on the show and will be missed. I'm hearing it was a heart attack.

Oh, my gosh... I wonder how Monk will deal with that loss. It should great writing material for the show's writers even if it's sad. Are you sure it's true and not some internet rumor?

I'm positive and wish it wasn't true. He had a heart attack and his friends found him. USA has been running a tribute near the end of the reruns of Monk. He was only 65. I'll always remember him and how much time he talked with fans online. Many stars won't do that and he was a great actor.

I am sorry to hear that, but I do know this person or this show, what happened to him?

He had a heart attack. It was a surprise, as hadn't been having any heart troubles. He had been online mentioned he was feeling better after having the flu. I will miss the online chats, as he was one of the actors that really listened to his fans and knew how we appreciated learning more about the show.

Stanley Kamel - Dr Kroger will be missed.
That is such sad news. He was a good actor and seemed fun. I just read his imdb page and was surprised how many things he's been in. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0436528/I wonder what they will do. Can Monk tolerate having to go to a new doctor or will they just recast and not mention it?

I am watching the episode that Mr. Monk goes to another doctor. Dr. Kroger made an appointment for another psychiatrist Dr. Sorenson. Its really sad. Some of my friends are wondering if Dr. Kroger's son on the show could end up being the right choice to help Mr. Monk.
