This is the day that I wish would never come but its one of the inevitable and we have to face it. The last couple of months we heard about the gossip about our supervisor's plan of leaving her job. Her husband has tranferred to a far away city and she has been lonely since january. And now she has decided to really transfer where he husband is. I feel heavy in my heart and i almost cried but i kept the tears from falling from my eyes. She distributed her job and I got the heaviest and the most dreadful job of all, the rebates and the dsl billing. Wow, what a day. I sure Im going to get over this sooner or later and I just hope that soon they will find a good replacement for her. Im sure going to miss her and her lovely smile and friendly voice.

Hi Zelmarq! We have a saying that, "All things, good or bad, always comes to an end." Nothing really last but the memories that will be left behind. I guess, your boss has somehow contributed so much in your work experience and somehow made you a better employee and person. Cherish the memories dear friend and hold them in your heart as you move on to another journey through life. Just my thoughts. Take care and have a nice day! :)

I presume you got a promotion that you can be so happy with the extra load of dreadful stuffs? On the other hand, I understand the lousy feeling if a good supervisor is leaving. We should be happy she is leaving for better good.

Oh I am sorry to hear this..Usually if someone's boss was leaving they would be happy, (I know my husband would), so it is refreshing to see that there are still some good people that are in charge in the workplace..

It is always hard when you work with someone and then they leave, but hopefully whoever comes in next will be just as nice to work with.

you sure have had a lot of changes and sad occurrences at your job this past year, haven't you Zelmarq? Such a lovely tribute you give to your boss, not many have such kind regards for their supervisor.
