I also use PC because of its easy accessibility and Ease to use. I use PC as it can be made dual boot. Moreover, MAC is still not avialable in my area. And mac is also a costly affair.

Since I use Linux instead of Windows and OS-X hardware isn't all that important but I do like how the newer Macs look but I'm stuck using PC hardware though even though I can run the same software on either PC or Mac hardware. Also from what I heard the best comptuter to run Vista on is a Mac and the best hardware to run OS-X is a PC.

Is that truth on running OS-X on a PC ? BTW, how do you get the Linux software ? Is it free of charge ? Thx.

Yes you can run OS-X on a PC. As for linux I would suggest if you don't have the patience or you don't know that much about computers try and learn more about computers first. Installing linux for the first can be very confusing for a person that is new to computers. Also backup all your important files before installing in case you make a mistake. These sites will help in learning more about linux: http://www.kernel.org http://www.linux.org http://www.zgeniestudios.net/ldc/ The last one is a little servey that will show you what distro of linux would be right for you. Personally I use Slackware and I love it but it is not for a person new to linux. You should go with Mandriva or Ubuntu even though I really don't like Ubuntu. It doesn't allow you to play around with it all to much to learn how to use it. If you have any more questions or you want to try out a linux distro just message me.

I have always used a pc all of my life. I have never been able to try a mac. I am so used to using a pc for all of my online work. I am not sure if I would like to use mac or not.

I have a dual operating system that has Linux Dapper Drake and Windows XP Home. I like to surf with the safer Linux and edit multimedia with Windows. Apple stuff is too expensive for my blood.

Nowadays there are many software that also runs with MAC and MAC is more reliable compared to windows. Your more safe from virusses trojans and worms, No slowing down of MAC. And you can totally run WinXP on a MAC. But MAC cost twice as much as a desktop PC and thats why im still using Desktop PC

I use PC mostly, but I've liked what Apple can do. If I was to compare the two, I've gotten less problems from Apple than PC. The use of apple is slightly different which I never seem to completely get use to thanks to my upbringing on PC.
