Working hard, or hardly working?

I've seen it a few times already where people would ask questions like, can you really get a payout? is this site a scam? Because they are barely making any money! I noticed that most of these people barely post or they post one liners frequently, neither of which will generate many responses and therefore will not garner much earnings. Well this site is legit, and it is easy too, but you have to put forth a little effort and try to be as creative as possible. This site is easy but you have to work at it, my mother has reached payout many times in the past year, she made over three dollars yesterday alone, but she works very hard at it! So what about you? Are you working hard? Or are you hardly working?

I am working hard but I was away from Mylot for a couple of days. I always reach payout here every month also but it does take alot of typing and work here. I have made over $3.00 in a days time also but it took many hours of typing to get it but it is well worth it. Your mom and I are friends and I know she works alot of hours online in Mylot also. I am glad you decided to join with her too.

First of all, I would go nuts if I would be posting here in order to make money. Yes, I have been paid, and it´s really nice, but that is a little extra incentive, no more. And if I would be posting in order to generate as many replies as possible, I would have to re-invent myself in order to become popular, because by nature that is something I am not. In fact, I can be pretty controversial. However, the quality of life is determined, as I see it, in great part by the quality of relationships you form. Who knows, I might actually find a soul brother or sister here at myLot, somebody who thinks like me, somebody to have fun with. (P.S.: Just to be on the safe side, I don´t want to imply that you or your mother are doing it exclusively for the money.)

good post .. I'm sure you are popular enough I know plenty of people that love controversy as I am one of them. Most of my views are outside the box. I came for the money! but I'm staying for the fun ... and the money lol , that's a good way to look at it tho, I hope you do find some soul brothers and sisters. Thanks for responding.

I am on the first page of top raters and that is because I work hard, this site is fun no doubt but it takes work if you want to make some money at it. I try to do 100 posts a day and that way I get a good and healthy paid out each month. I also make quality posts as well. I work hard at bringing into a variety of different posts from very serious health issues or social issues to fun stuff that every one can relate to.

Yeah I've been doing less posts and getting more returns since I had my 100+ post day. Thanks for responding.

yes, the site is legit and of course nothing comes too easy in this world.. and yes, not even in mylot. i have an average of 20 dollars earning every month from mylot.. i guess that is okay right? at least i get additional money to expect and i enjoy every single time i am here. when i have a target, honestly i do make extra effort so i can reach a dollar in one day. of course, if i get busy at my real life work, then i am not seen on mylot often.

I think I am somewhere in between there. I can't say working hard because my focus is no longer totally on MyLot, but I know its more than hardly working, because I am not the one to post one-liners. I noticed the same thing with those people. I figure that a majority of them are just more post counters, and it won't be long before they move on to something that is easy. But a small few really don't know what they are doing here. I mean we have the TOS, but that really doesn't show how to earn. And if these people don't hook up with the right members, it takes them forever to learn what's really going on. That's why I wrote that article. I wanted to help that small few that are truly struggling to earn here. Your mother earned over three dollars yesterday??? I really need to pattern after her!!!

Thank you for the BR and the shameless plug of my article. I've been being lazy a little though. Still haven't done that rewrite. I will probably get to it this weekend. Maybe if people will start asking that will give me the swift kick in the hindquarters I need lol.

Personally I would say you are working hard from what I've seen so far, harder working than I at any rate. :P excellent points. I'm sure anyone that reads You article will benifit from it even if it is a refresher to them. Yeah she made over 3$ tho ... a good chunk of that was from having me as a referral ... now I see why she wanted me to join so badly ... ah well can't fault her for that, if anything I have to thank her! Thanks for the "best response" For anyone that wants to read the article please do so it will help answer your questions ... http://www.helium.com/items/994426-mylotcomby-kenya-stallworth-drknlvly6781two

I am 100% agree with you. You said very well that people only post 1 or 2 lines and they want a big payout. I know many people those are making a good money from mylot. And this is just for having some fun. So if you want to make money from mylot then you will have to post lengthy responses and upload more photos. I am very happy for your mother. She made 3$ yesterday this is really big amount. I wish i can reach at this amount in 1 day. Anyway i am workinh hard and making 40 cents per day. Thanks

I'm new and I think that it's hard to understand (and to know where to look to find out) how to make any money on this site. I think I get the basics, that you earn more for discussions that get lots of responses, if your opinions are more than a few lines long and if you post photos or refer poeple, but I have only really found this out from reading other peoples' posts. Maybe the site itself could be a bit clearer; I know that the earnings calculation is only known by myLot itself, but maybe they could make it a bit more obvious where we should be looking to find out these things (or maybe I'm just being a bit slow!) I wouldn't be surprised if lots of people just don't realise that short posts don't attract much money.

All what you have said is true about what others have said, this site is legit, one has to put in the effort, you have to work at it for the money to come and there is a payout. I know because I've been paid. To be honest I'd have to say I'm hardly working rather than working hard as I just don't have the time, but I'm working on it.

Hmm. Please don't take offense at what I am about to say, but how did you already get paid? You only have eight posts. They would all have to be like ten pages long to do that.

For a second there I thought you were going to say I was rude, you had me worried there. I actually first joined in November of 2006 but for the last few months I didn't sign in due to a family medical problems which is still ongoing so all my info was deleted and I'm kind of getting back into the swing of things here. It was quite a shock at first because I still don't understand where all my discussions went because I thought all the comments and answers were intertwined with all of the other MyLot members. But I guess we live and learn. I'm not going to worry about it, but I'm still a little curious. If anyone doesn't sign in every day for 60 days they'll see what I mean, but I wouldn't recommend it. LOL

yea i have seen this, you get the people complaining about how low there balance is but they have only posted like 6 posts, what do they expect that once they post a couple of posts they will get a $? I found that the more you focus on trying to make the cash the slower it seemed to build up but when you just start posting for enjoyment and forget about the cash it suddenly builds up quikly without you knowing.

I agree with you focusing on having fun seems to work, well it has been for the past few days I was on before I took a break. Thank for sharing your views.

You are right, it takes all those things, plus it takes time and using that time to put as much effort into what you do on here as possible. I started off thinking that it was a waste of my time, but I started to put more effort in every time I came on here and I see the efforts paying off a little more each time. I still have a lot more to learn in some ways in my discussions and things but I do work hard, and I am on here whenever I can get the time.

It sort of depends on the day for me. There are days when I have more time to answer more discussions. But, because my responses tend to be quite lengthy, I don't answer a butt load each day. I rarely do a one sentence response unless it is sort of like a conversation between me and another myLotian inside of a discussion. The only other times when I might do a one or two sentence response is if someone else did a one or to sentence response or started a discussion with one or two sentences. But, I really do try to say everything I am thinking and, for me to do that, it won't just be in one sentence. And, I still haven't set my payout amount yet, nor have I set up my PayPal account so, I am obviously here more for the relationships than I am for the earning potential. Not that I think others who have set their payout amounts and paypal accounts up are here for the earning. I just see that as more of a bonus for the fun this place provides for me each day. And, there are definitely people here who complain about it but, they really have put very limited effort into it. They are obviously only here to earn. That bothers me. Be here to both have fun talking to others and to earn. But, if you are here just to earn, the chances that you care about what I have to say are over-shadowed by your monetary greed! And, that is ultimately a waste of my time! LOL! Sorry! I hope I don't sound to harsh! I never want to offend anyone but, that is just my opinion! Great question! And, to answer it, I guess I am more playing hard then working hard or hardly working! Is that an acceptable answer?

I'd say I'm neither working hard or hardly working. I didnt join for the money, so I'm here enjoying myself while reaping extra benefits! Theres great people here, great discussions, great entertainment and sometimes a doozy of a discussion that makes me shake my head and think what are people thinking!

This will be my first post but I have heard very great things about this site from a couple of people so finally thought I would try it out. Although I am still trying to figure everything out I'm hoping to contribute as much as I can to the community! :) I do have to agree with you though, not only in regards to this website but about everything. If you want something, your going to need to work for it. Eitherwise you wont achieve anything!

I'm working hard at this site. I don't make 3 dollars a day but I can make one if I really try. I always try to make thoughtful responces but sometimes my answers are dry when I'm tired or distracted. I've only been here a week so I'll probably either get bored of this soon or get better at it. Either suits me because being here is free.
