I am packing to go on a trip for the rest of the week. I went to find my wash bag and discovered not only my razer, toothbrush, comb, shampoo etc; but also a small bar of chocolate and a string of pearls! Now the chocolate must be mine It is now. But the pearls? Not really my thing. I think that they belong to my wife. But has she been using my wash bag when I am not around as her secret hidey place. Well your cover's blown now Missis! What interesting items do you have in your wash bag?

Thanks for the reminder. That is something I need to buy this week before we leave for our trip on Sunday. At the moment I don't have one as I threw my old one away. It usually has the basic things I need and nothing else.

I remember my father's back then, I don't have any wash bag as I just put my stuff in a shelf. I was gonna use his razor, then suddenly as I felt something smooth and hard. With my surprise, I grabbed his old set of dentures. Eww! Since then, I always make sure that I have own stuffs complete..

Now if I found dentures in my bag that really would be something. Still, it they would be handy for that tough steak the restaurant served up!

I don't have a wash bag. If I did I'm sure it wouldn't have pearls in it. Are you sure the pearls aren't yours?

I think that they are my wife's Nanna. I think that she wore them to my 50th birthday dinner when we stayed overnight at an hotel. I hope that they are hers. Otherwise I am in big trouble!! They could be my daughters too. I shall have to check the photos. Pearls aren't really my thing. But I suppose that I could always reach out to my feminine side. LOL.

I have heard that have been getting in touch with your feminine side recently.

Oh Nanna. I rather hoped that you wouldn't see that. But yes, I have accepted and am likely to lose the challenge. But I always fulfill my promises, so yes, it looks like I shall be dressed a tad unusually quite soon. Worse things happen at sea. Can't think what just now though!

Uh Oh..he's trying to run! The count has almost reached 50 and he is heading for the hills and taking the pearls with him! You can run but you can't hide...we will find you! We have a couple of different bags when we travel. I pack make-up, meds, toothbrushes and anything that won't potentially spill in one bag. The other one has shampoo, hair brushes and shaving stuff in it. I pack a lot of stuff when I leave but I typically leave for a minimum of two weeks at a time.

Pearls and chocolate in a wash bag? That's a bit odd. In my wash bag there is approximately nothing but air. I use my wash bag if I'm going away and I'll put in toothpaste a toothbrush, soap, shampoo, conditioner and possibly a lip balm.

I have the usual toiletries stuff too. In fact I probably travel too heavily in respect of the at stuff. But pearls and chocolate are a new one. I didn't mention the iPod earphones too did I. I have just got home and shall have a good turnout tonight.

She'll find somewhere else, have no fear. All that I ever find in my socks are holes. Although I have found the odd $5 note in my shirt pockets previously. They wash a treat!!

Pearls are among my top favorite things in the world, p1key, so if they don't belong to your wife, you might consider sending them along to me, where they will be cherished along with their soon-to-be cousins and they will always be worn, too. Gawd, I love pearls! But I wouldn't have known what a wash-bag is, unless I read your description of it - it must be a european term, I guess. Skinny asked if it's a cosmetic bag, and if that's it, then, I know what it is. After all, cosmetics are a big part of my life. But travel isn't. My cosmetics are all in several drawers, on the surface of my vanity in my dressing room, and scattered about the floor too, if the truth were to be told. I do, however, have a bag for them on the rare occasion that I do travel. But I've never found any lost pearls in it, dammit.

You lost that Ipod again, p1ke? You're gonna have to get a beeper for it, so you can find it. lolol So glad you discovered it in your bag!
@p1kef1sh (45681)

It's a bag that you put your toiletries in. We also call them sponge bags. We don't call them pearl bags though. Nonwe of the women in my life have complained that they've lost a string. But they probably have done so, just not noticed. My iPod was in there too!!
16 Apr 08
Hey...I wondered where my chocolate went!! Bet its too late to ask for it back now isnt it???? My and my boyfreind share his washbag, we dont have any strange unusual things in it. Just toothpaste, shampoo/shower gel (stolen from a hotel!!) etc I think the pearls are prob your wife's but if you ask she might let you wear them with the bra, thats if they dont clash!!
@p1kef1sh (45681)

I think that they are too. Do you think that i should. They might just show my cones off nicely. LOL. Anyway, you're still at 46. 4 to go yet!!

I don't have a wash bag unless I travel. I'm thinking a wash bag is what we call a cosmetic case??? I usually have makeup in mine. Then a second for skin care when I go somewhere.
@p1kef1sh (45681)
16 Apr 08
Wash bag, sponge bag, a cosmetic case is something a little different, a bit like a vanity case perhaps. But a bag that you put your toiletries in when you travel.

Well lol as long as thats all that you found theres no need for worry... My washbag....its a unisex one...which means..lol..we share the same one....we see noooo need for two washbags....(we belong to the Save the washbag scheme)..it usually contains...soap ..toothbrushes in different colours...deo..a slightly smelly flannel ..if ive forgotten to remove it ...a few mouldy spots from the forgotten flannel...OH...and a disposable razor....not a lot else...I like to travel light!!...

We share ours (mine in fact) too. That's why I think that the pearls are my wife's. I think that she wore them to my 50th birthday dinner. I shall have to check the photos. Otherwise, I guess that they might go with that bra!!
