Rent a handbag! Why didn't I think of this?

Here is a concept that is new, at least to me. You go to this site, get a membership, and you get to rent designer handbags. Imagine my joy at finding this out. From $15 a week for a Coach handbag to $150 a week for a vintage bag. I'm not promoting this site, but here is the reference needed to show I'm not making this up: http://www.bagborroworsteal.com/ui/welcome So.... Are you a handbag collector, would you love to have the use of a designer bag for a week? What's next - what is the next hot rental?

This is very interesting... first time for me to hear this type of business... i am not particularly crazy about designer bags... as long as i have something decent to put my things in everytime i go out of the house... i am good to go... i wonder if they have a lot of customers...

Asteretdd, from what I have read about the company they are doing really well. it just kills me see all you need is a good idea and you can make anything happen. I can not think of a thing... LMAO just one simple little gimmick is all you need.

I know, for the lack of a good idea or an idea coming a little too late. Surely we could think of something...

In fact I am not interested in it. As usually this service is for famous brand and expensive handbag and which it's not my style. If I have this kind of handbag outside, be sure I have to dress very well. I have to even wear brand shoes. In brief, everything shall match and that means to say everything shall be famous brand and expensive. I can't afford it and I also don't feel comfortable to it. I prefer to casual things. I love China

There was a time when I was much younger when clothes mattered a lot to me. Now I prefer casual as well. I'm glad I have a job where I have to look nice, but not extremely dressed up.

I wouldn't be surprised if you could do it over the internet, but am not necessarily recommending this. When I was younger, and went out more, I might have wanted to show off a little.

I imagine that once the shoes were worn, it wouldn't be an item in demand much - unless they were Jimmy Choo or something obscenely expensive.

No this doesn't interest me in the least bit. I don't really enjoy carrying a handbag though I do. But I would prefer to spend my money on something else. Or finding a handbag on clearance like I did last year for $5 at K-mart and have received all kinds of compliments on it! Those are the best to me!

You have got to love getting something on clearance that is also worth having. I don't know if I like carrying a handbag, but I have so many "necessities" it's a must.

hey! this is actually a good idea. this is very ideal for those who are thrifty and don't want to buy bags that they'll use for just one special occasion. you can save money and choose a variety of them. whoever thought of this is a genius.

I understand that they are doing well with this. I wish I could think of a good idea myself.

This concept wouldn't interest me but there are plenty of women who would jump at this offer. I have 2 or 3 purses that I use but am not into fashion enough to change my purse everyday. I like one large enough to carry pictures of our grandkids so I can show them off. Then I have other days when I want to keep the purse light in weight and carry a smaller, sometimes seasonal purse. My mind is blank, not unusual, for what the next hot rental could be in this day and age. Sorry I can't make any suggestions.

Nope not for me. My purse cost me six dollors and I like it that way. Im just not into spending alot of money on stuff with a special name.

That sounds really cool and exciting though i am not much of a handbag person. I will refer it to some of my friends who are handbag freaks. ~Pinks~

i find it rather amusing... rent a handbag... i wonder what are the terms and condition of 'service', how can they be so sure the handbags would be returned, and returned in good condition?.. i understand some people's need to be 'in fashion'.. but.. i would like to be fashionable using my own stuff...

I'm particular about purses and don't buy them often - it's more of finding one that is easy to fish things out of. I don't like to rent stuff either.

I would have never thought of that either. That is wild. The outlay must be a lot for the company to start with. I'd be afraid to put anything in it for fear that it would damage it. After all, I've ruined bags with liquid meds, nail polish, etc.

I've heard of renting purses before. Seems odd to me but I am a simple person. I think i spent $15 to buy my purse. lol. I think I'll stick to renting movies. To each their own.
