Oh well, here we go now, my computer is acting again. i hate it when it hangs up on me and i can't click anything or sometimes it will say the page is not responding and then i have to close it and open the same page again. What often restart my computer when this happens. i don't if anyone here encounters the same problems too. there are times my computer's working good and there are times it will just hang up. i hate when it happens specially when i'm in the middle of doing something and i haven't saved my work and it will just be all gone once i restart my computer again. maybe the server or net get flooded or busy that when i open up a page it will suddenly stop responding. anyway, i hope it won't happen to me all the time cause it gets me frustrated.. well, who wouldn't? friends, tell me if you encounter problems like this with your computer and what do you think is the cause? any ideas will be helpful.

I hate it too when the computer hangs up on me and just quits. Here I am just going along getting stuff done and the computer just quits. It is so frustrating. But nothing we can do about it. After all they are just machines. We are lucky that they work as well as they do. I don't know what the cause is for sure, but most likely, there is a virus warning and that will shut you down in a skinny minute. Be sure you have good security software on your computer. And also I think you have to keep cleaning your computer of old files, cause otherwise you will run out of memory. I am not a computer expert by any means, but those are just a few ideas.

A computer hangs up on you when there are issues with the software. If any of the system files are missing or if a program is not installed properly or not working fine then it does raise some problems. When an illegal operation is performed the system gets hanged up. Say if you dont have enough memory to swap programs it will lead to over load on the memory and it will hang up since that gets confused with what to do first. I did have such kinds of problems long back and now i dont have any such problems since my computer is well advacned and super fast. Some times it may be cause of the virus and spyware that is residing in the computer and functioning on the background which consumes the resources and force the computer to hang up. You have to keep a watch on the system regularly and make a note of when the system hangs up and what you did just before it hangs up. I guess i can help you out on this issue and i would be glad to do so. Hope you wont have too many problem with your computer.

You may need new RAM in that case. Other things you could try are defrags, cleaning out your harddrive a bit. Of course do an antivirus and antispyware scan. If you use a tabbing browser (firefox, opera), try not to have many tabs open. Overall, don't have too many windows open. Also try cleaning out your Cache and/or temporary internet files. That should improve things a bit.

most computers hang up, i guess everybody experienced that. memory can't handle too many applications at a time, too many traffic in the server, are some reasons for our pc's to hang up. if i came to this point, i just restart my pc, and that would be all, back to business...

The problem of a computer freezing is a lot more common than many people think it is. It is also one of the most elusive problems to trace, because it can be caused my a myriad of things. Software conflicts can be responsible for this, but so can hardware issues. Not only can a faulty or worn piece of hardware generate a problem, but even excellent components can sometimes work poorly and refuse to operate well with another certain piece of hardwar or software program.

He.. He.. You are just like my boyfriend. The other day he was shutting down the computer but it was not responding. He tried to turn the power off and it was not responding. He was starting to blow his top. I told him the system is busy and he needs to wait. But he wanted to go to bed. So he unplugged it instead. These computers do give us headaches sometimes. My first job was editorial secretary and I was using an old computer. I remember banging on my keyboard and smashing the mouse. LOL!

The best thing to do is to buy a new one lol, just joking sis, yeah most of the time it happened to me too. I don't have any clue because I know my computer is running well. Other said I need to update my BIOS of download new drivers from the internet. Thats giving me a hard time, so I just buy a new one and guess what, it worked perfectly until now. Hope thats helps.
