What is blogging?

For the most part, people don't make money blogging. Usually, people are just using their blog as a way to be heard. Not that you can't use a blog to make money. A few do. What I've seen is that you have to have a skill or service the blog can publicize for you. For example, I've seen where a free lance journalist used his blog to publish his reporting on the middle east so as to solicit funds from readers to go back and report some more. The man is more of a reporter using the blog for public relations and fund raising than he is a blogger. So, use your blog to enhance some other skill you have.
