Have you made entries in your Lists?

Discussions based on topics in your Lists are recommended, because they should stand a better chance of receiving responses. I have put quite a few tags in my lists section but when I click on them, I usually find that I am the only one with that interest! It makes me think that maybe most people haven't added much yet.

I have. It's kind of interesting to see what is all listed. I try to keep my profile info updated.

It's another thing to explore. I'm not sure how it helps to start a discussion from your list but no doubt we shall see!

I've noticed that as well. I'm still adding things, and like someone else said, it may take time to catch on.

The more people that add lots of topics to their lists, the more likely that some will match up. Eventually it will be possible to choose topics which one is best as responding to and thus make good responses.

I've added a few things, but quite frankly, I'm having too much fun in the discussions. I should add a few things each day though.

Yes, I've had that problem too. I only recently noticed lists though so I've not long had my list up.

I haven't made any, I'm still getting used to the site, I think I might do a bit of exploring now though.

I am not sure I understand what the Significance of the Lists are. Maybe I should Look into it. But only if it would help me in some way here.

There are several ways of being selective on MyLot. Having friends is one way. You can choose to watch their discussions and, if you have chosen people as your friends because you like their topics, you are more likely to continue finding topics you like answering. 'Lists' is another way of being selective. It can show all discussions on topics which have the same tags as you put in your lists.

I have the same problem. You're probably right, a lot of people just haven't taken the time to add to their lists. Maybe we should be pioneers and start our own discussions from our lists.

Let's do that, Zuri! If you look at the Discussions list, you will see that most discussions say 'Started by ...' but if it's started in a List, it will say 'Started by ... in ... (list topic)' It's a way of categorising discussions.

I have added a few categories to my lists. I think myLot is just new at this point and as it grows, more people will show up in all the categories. In believe in the long run, topics added to the lists will get more attention and more responses as new people come on board, join the categories, and have answers to the questions in the lists.

I agree. It hasn't reached its full potential yet. I'm sure that they were put there for a good reason!
