how you save time and money in a multicat household

I save time by opening up cans of food for my cats when I get up in the morning and feed them all at once. After they eat, the cats return to their usual sitting/sleeping places. However, with 4 cats, it's harder for me to save money on their food. I've trimmed my own grocery expenses a little in order to have some money for canned and dry food.

I buy food for my 4 cats by the case online from Petfooddirect.com. I search for a coupon online and the discount offsets the shipping costs. I buy the 12 oz size cans to save a bit as well. Four cats finish one can twice a day. No left-overs. I try to buy litter only on sale. I'd rather cut back on my food than theirs.
