Personally I think it is all a bunch of Hooey! Don't get me wrong I'm all for being a good steward of our planet and doing as little damage to it as possible. It is a resource that we have to manage and take care of not just for ourselves but for future generations. But this whole "green" thing is a marketing gimmick. I saw "green" bleach in the store the other day. Come on. Green bleach?!? It is the exact same bottle of bleach we bought a few weeks ago but now it has the "Green" logo. Al Gore, king of the green, uses more electricity in his Tennessee mansion than 20 typical households! http://www.businessweek.com/innovate/NussbaumOnDesign/archives/2007/02/gores_carbon_fo.html There is a Green Party. It is a political party that just sent 6 delegates for a conference in Brazil and is preparing for a huge conference in Chicago, where Green Party members are going to fly in from all over the country. Yes fly in. So they are going to have a huge conference to talk about environment-friendly initiatives but they are going to be sending thousands of people out on commercial airlines creating pollution and using tons of jet fuel. If they were that worried about the environment, they would have a huge satellite conference with hundreds of local offices connecting via satellite and use ZERO fossil fuels! Again, please don't misunderstand me. It is vital that we take care of our planet. But having lived through the "green movement" of the 70's, I am wary of all these green initiatives that are more window dressing than real solutions. I just want us to be wise and make slow consistent steps forward and not have knee-jerk reactions that do not last.

well it is almost too little too late but the effort is a good thing that finally big corporations are waking up to the idea. i am fully in favour of going green and encourage my friends and family to do everything that we can to help the environment.

I think it's great too and we really need to pay attention to what we are doing and preserving our planet so we can pass it on for generation to generation. I wish more people would pay attention and even do little things to recycle or cut down on usage of power....and gasoline. We need to leave something for the next generations.

Yes they were great people trying to help environment for the next generation. By minimizing or even stopping using plastic. And recycling our garbage are big help for our environment by stop to cut younger tree and planting more tree to grow. We have to help also our environment even in a small ways that we can.
