Annoying

Does anyone else have cats who like to jump on your computer desk when you are trying to use the computer? My cat keeps jumping up here and sticking her fat butt in my face trying to get me to pet her. Of course I do because she is irresistible! She keeps staring at the screen and batting at my cursor. How annoying. now she is laying down and resting her face on the screen at a 90 degree angle, as if that is comfortable...

My cats are outside but I have a dog who constantly knocks her dog box over just to get me out there for attention. I know that's why she does it because as soon as I go out to fix it and come back inside she does it again. She gets attention and I walk her along with my other dogs and I even bring her in the house sometimes but she wants me out there all the time and it is really getting annoying. So I put her on my youngest dogs chain since he is in the house most of the time and hope that she likes it better there. If not I will have to bolt her box to the ground somehow, lol. :)

Yep, the young one (she's a year old) loves nothing better than to lie in front of me on my computer workstation, between me and the screen. My computer desk is very large, and there's a whole surface area that's big enough for her to just lounge around on. Of course, this is all designed to get my attention and to give her love. Of course, she gets it. And then, she's so adorable when she follows the cursor around on the screen and puts her paw on the screen, trying to catch it. My old guy never does this.

Welcome to the new generation of cats. When I was young, anything I ever tried to read was immediately the preferred bed of my cat.Newspaper, phone book, cookbook, library book. Whatever reading material I was interested in, there was at least one cat. Of course since everything is now computerized, the cat also must be computer oriented. Yes, even my cats. They lay on me, dust the computer, and the long haired one leaves lots of long hair on the keyboard.

That's how my cats are too! Whenever I open a book or magazine there they are climbing all over it, trying to tell me they are more important than some dumb paper haha

The business end of the furry windscreen wiper - My cat Felix - the screen sitter - when he's not sitting on me.
One of mine likes to come and lie on my lap when I'm at the computer - resting his head on my left arm and sticking his head in between e and the keyboard so that I can't see what I'm typing. That's when he's not sitting on top of the monitor with his tail swishing back and forward across the screen like a furry windscreen wiper.

Yes, both of my cats can be like this as well. They like getting in front of the monitor so I can't see what I am typing. One of my cats is currently on the arm of my desk chair and I am waiting for him to sneak upon the desk in front of the monitor.LOL I am hoping though he will curl around my neck about right now.

Don't be like that too your cat. He or she has noticed that your are paying your computer more attention than them. Just stop typing for a few minutes and pay the can some mind too. When your not on the computer the cat is your company. Put the cat in your lap out of the way of the screen and stroke the cat from time to time while your on the computer that should help keep he or she out of the way of the screen. Multi tasking.

Like I said, of course I pet her because she is irresistible! She doesn't fit in my lap comfortably anymore hehe she is a fatty. I never kicked her off my desk because I want her to be comfortable and choose her own sitting area. I just work around her.

I don't have cats, but when I put my laptop on my bed to do work. My dog will jump on the bed, and work her way around to the keypad. Every so often, she will put a paw or her head on the keypad. I don't think it's annoying all the time, she looks so cute when she looks like she's trying to type or mainly get my attention.

My little cat used to climb up on one of the shelves of my desk in the morning, when I was online, and then he would bat at my hands as I typed or used the mouse. It was really cute the first few times he did it, especially when he tried to type. After a while, though, it got annoying.

My cats don't jump up on the computer desk because they know better haha But what they love doing to annoy me is jumping on the kitchen table where I find myself going in there and shooing them away. They also have their times where they are so wound up that it's just unbelievable that their lightening speed is uncontrolable. Also when I'm trying to crochet, they definitly have to be involved with that because it's like my yarn is calling their names and they have the nerve to attack it .. why? because it's moving of course I think your cat has really good vision if she can see something as small as your cursor. Yesterday my cats were after the flies that got in the house and it was the funniest thing watching them. They were talking to them and I had to laugh so hard because my newest kitten never seen them before but they sure had fun with the insects

Not only does he try to walk the keyboard when I'm sitting there, but he ha also decided that the computer desk is the most direct route to get anywhere in the house. Need to get from the living room to the kitchen? Run across the computer table. Need to get to the bedroom from the bathroom? Run to the living room, go across the computer table, then back to the bedroom. My cat is a lunatic!

But if he/she's really interfering you, i think you should look into his eyes and say "no" to him seriously. They're clever enough to know that's not allowed.

Your cat is quite funny!I kept cats before, and they were so qute! The girl Mier liked to watching us while we're combing hair, she would sit one the dressing table and saying "meow meow" to us, we thought she wanted us to comb her hair too.Hahaha. And the other one Nuo liked to occupy the chair, when we sit on that chair, he would jump on us and moving around, untill we stand up or leave, and then he would spread on the chair, watching TV and enjoying the cool air from the air condition. They were funny and like to play or stay with you, especially while you're doing your favorite things.

It's all about placing herself in the center of your attention. You can easily see this behaviour, albeit modified and oft times symoblic, also in human behaviour. dr...

You know cats do the craziest things. They are unaware that their owner get irritated sometimes. You when I am doing something in my bed and this kitty of mine will go to my lap and say meow like greeting me hello, then she will sleep there. But i will put her far from me since I am busy with something and she keeps on coming back and do the same thing. Yes they are really annoying but lovable.

It is really amazing how our pets contribute much to our moods. Most of the time they make us happy and sometimes make us feel bad. I have cats too and they are also sweet like yours and I do admit that if you are so busy trying to finish something, having them so close is really annoying. But I love them so I just can't resist them too. LOL

she's just trying to be cute and wanting to be cuddled. That's what pets are for. love them or leave them. By the way I am a dog lover ^^. They are way worse but I still love them.
