Traveling the world, where do you want to go!?

I think my biggest dream is to travel all around the world to as many places as I can from every continent. I just hope I have enough time to see as many places as I can and learn as much as I can about the world and its cultures before I die. Does anyone have any opinions on the best places to visit around the world and what to do there? And does anyone have any good traveling stories that would be interesting to hear because I'm really curious!

I've never left Australia so there are plenty of places I want to visit. I want to see Graceland in Memphis, New York, Ireland, Italy and Japan among others but those are my first choices. I feel like time is slipping away because I"m already 24 years old and I haven't been anywhere so I'd better start planning now!

You live in Australia! That sounds amazing, maybe it's just amazing to me because I don't live there, but I'm very tired of America! Australia sounds like an amazing place to live, but if you live there I recommend trying a completely different climate for a change, maybe Alaska or Russia?

Don't worry about Your age. I am 25, and, in my opinion, age is absolutelly not the matter for traveling as we know the most of the tourists are seniors, people at older age. The other question is about destination. Among Your desirable destinations are Italy. I would very like to visit Sicily. Australia have always seemed to me and many other Europeans as very exotic country for the long distance from Europe, for all the exotic wild life no other country has, ie, kangaroos! What do You think, which would be the best place to visit in Australia?

I went around the world when I was 20 years old and traveled from Europe, to the Americas, then Australasia, and lastly Asia. My route was London-Los Angeles-Hawaii-Fiji-Sydney-Adelaide-Cairns-Darwin-Singapore-London. I got a working holiday visa for Australia and did all sorts of different jobs there, from being a children's nanny to dressing as a koala for charity. It was amazing to see the unique wildlife like kangaroos and emus. I did some snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef and went para-sailing. If I was lucky enough to do a second trip around the world I would like to fly London-Cape Town-Johannesburg-Mauritius-Dubai-Delhi-Beijing-Tokyo-Cebu-Vancouver -Seattle-Houston-Panama-Quito-Lima-Rio-London. On that amazing trip I would see two cities on my wish list Cape Town and Vancouver, be able to go island hopping and snorkeling in the Philippines, walk the Inca Trail and cruise around the Galapagos Islands. I hope that you will go around the world one day soon.

That sounds like the most fantastic thing i have ever heard! You are so fortunate to have experienced all of that and I'm SO jealous. What was your favorite part of the trip or was it too hard to decide because there was so much! i would be blown away with an opportunity like that, and i admire you on your future traveling dreams that would be equally wonderful!

I have been to many countries around the world. All the countries are unique in their own ways, culturally, traditionally, scenically, and more. One place I have seen many pictures of and wish very much to get a chance to go to is Mount Kalimanjaro ! One of the most remarkably beautiful mountain in the world !

You might think that Montenegro is not the best place to go, but I assure You that this is very, very nice place to visit. Pleasingly warm climat with nice beaches and lakes embosomed with beautiful woodland scenes at rocks and mountains. This is not what the most travel agencies will offer, but there are so many places not being very popular just due to the matter it is more difficult to arrange trips to these places. I suggest sometimes to choose less popular places to give a try!

Thats a good point, I've never even considered Montenegro as a choice, but i think i will consider it. I appreciate the comment, it's much more different than I accpected people to say. You seem to enjoy it a lot and like it very much, but being able to travel there is kind of important...

Anyway, to choose where to travel is always very individual choice depending on many factors and what is considered more atractive for every traveler. The one who likes wild nature will never go to sunny crowded beach in Spain. But if You like take few risk, it's great to try something new, less popular. However, where ever we go, the first important thing to do is to find out about the target destination as much and as from many differen sources as possible. Good luck in Your journeys!

Hello! I like you would love to travel to as many places as possible. I think its the best way to learn and get an education. I also find that my kids learn a lot as well. Being a beach person, I think I would love to visit the South Pacific and the Tahitian Islands. The natural beauty of the ocean is something that has always attracted me, but then again, I would love to see Kilimanjaro and Mt. Everest. Anything that nature creates is surely some of the most beautiful scenic sites worth visiting. Happy traveling!

I would love to visit Scotland, Ireland, England,Australia (outback),Canada and the places that i want to visit is out in the countryside (couldn't care less about the cities or beaches). But the one place that i have dreamed about since i was a child is Alaska, during the 6mo. night and you guessed it, not the cities.

There are so many incredible places to visit. Some of my favorites are Oslo(Norway), Zurich(Switzerland), Stavanger(Norway, of course I'm partial to this city because I was born there), Honolulu Hawaii(US), New York City, New York(USA). I could write huge articles on what to visit in each of the cities. What do you like to do on vacation? See all the important sites? eat your way through the city? jsut relax?

I'd really love to go to Europe, a little broad but there are quite a few places I'm interested in going over there. I'd also love to go back to Las Vegas and Los Angeles, as I've been before but didn't get to spend much time in either. I'd like to revisit the Caribbean as well.

ever since, ive always wanted to go to europe. and travel all over the european countries, especially paris. i think if get into paris i can say that i have fulfilled my dream. but recently i wanted to go to hongkong to see disneyland. even though i was already 22 years old i am still a big fan of disneys. ive checked already the site map and i think it would be a lot of fun going there. but i doubt visiting it for one day only, it was too huge to go around in just a day. maybe two days would do. ive already told my friends about it and we all agree to go and see hongkong disneyland next year. coz we were all busy right now. i think japan would be interesting too. do you have plans going around the world? where's your first stop?

Maybe a good place is the Artic. Fresh air by the gallon and fresh fish to eat and scenery that is absolutely superb. When we travel we should look for nature's best so that we can appreciate the world we live in better. The Artic is a pristine place with nature's untouched hand in full play. Crowded cities might have fun but they don't have nature. And nature is what made us and the world. Natural wonders make us think of how we came about over so many centuries. We also get a chance to escape the horrible rat race most of us live in and experience the real world the madmen of our economies did not make.

I can talk all day about travelling! It's actually what i really love to do! Just thinking about it makes me so excited! Some people can't understand my passion for it, I'm glad I can share it with somebody who does. My biggest dream is to have a honey moon in Europe, after I find a husband of course.:) It would be the most romantic thing in the world! I still havent chosen which part of Europe because I think I like to go everypart of it. But I'm sure I would'nt be able to afford it so, just wait until I find my husband:) I'm working in China right now. I take my opportunity of being here to travel around it. China is also a very nice place. The biggest city is Shanghai. It's a very busy place. People are always in a hurry. Nice places to go there are the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, The Bund, Xin Tian Di, Yu Garden, Nanjing Road, Huai Hai road...the lights there during night time are fabulous! There are also a lot of places I've gone but I'll just have to continue with them next time. It would be very boring if I write everything on now. So until next time. I'll be back for sure to talk about my stories to the other places I've been to.I hope you can also fulfill your dream in travelling around the world.
