Yes, it is true. Someday, due to the insidious all encompassing evil of man made global warming (CLIMATE CHANGE!) that very favorite breakfast of humankind everywhere could become not fit to eat. In fact, it could kill you. Beware of the coming KILLER CORN FLAKES. Yes, it is true. Read about it here. http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,23691709-29277,00.html Should we heed the Prophet Sainted Nobel Laureate, the Honorable Al Gore, now, before the KILLER CORN FLAKES take us all? Or? Should we take comfort in the fact that we have evil nasty chemicals to put on plants that kill toxins, unlike those unfortunates in the middle ages? What do you think. Was this an informative, worthwhile article or another attempt at scaremongering? Maybe both?

You have to just love this stuff. These gys ought to write political speeches as the BS factor is about the same . Since there has been no warming since 1998, and the earth's oceans have cooled by by one degree last year, I have to wonder about the cause of these alleged toxins. This is just another scaremongering tactic in the hopes of furthering public opinion about non existent man made climate change. Considering that the IPCC just released a statement saying that global warming was on hold for the next decade due to Mother Nature, it seems to me these guys could at least get their stories straight and start coordinating their lies a little better.

The only thing to love more than these stories are the people who believe them. Bless their little hearts and God love'm! Speaking of God, let's remember to thank Him for the internet so we can laugh at this stuff no matter where in the world it might appear.

Yin and yang..... It's always yin and yang! And it all comes down to the telling! Man, if I was to take everything under advisement I would spend my life wearing a gas mask and existing only on a diet of organic wheat grass grown in antarctic pure ice! Also, we are talking Mr Al Gore, the global warming and energy crusader that was found to be using about four times the energy of a similar household of his size in his state; and also found to have not embraced ANY of the measures he preaches about such as solar, wind or alternative energy. More than likely Mr Gore has been slipped a check by "Pop Tarts" who are keen to increase their standing as a breakfast staple! And on the worthwhile article front; any topic that causes furious debate is worthwhile! I wonder what it will be next? Maybe I had better go cook myself an egg before they become bad for me again?

I gotta agree concerning ol'Al Gore being slipped a check. Surely, someone must be slipping him money to get him to spout the nonsense that he does. Otherwise, Al Gore is unbelievably stupid. Now, there's a possible thread. Is Al Gore extrordinarily stupid or ordinarily corrupt?

Al Gore is a BUSINESS man; pure and simple! So in this regard maybe he ain't so stupid at all! There is a fine line between being savvy and being corrupt in my opinion and he is one of many who walk this line very well.

I thought this was a joke until I read the news link. Come on folk have we became insane to believe this non-sense. Good Grief redyellowblackdog can people truly be this dumb. Well people are voting for Barack Hussein Obama. Unless you eat organic food do not worry, if you do oh well. If this article is true with it is not, well atless flawed science, we are all doomed. Everything we eat either has corn in it or is feed corn. How did man create global warming back in the middle ages, any takers? If humans did not create global warming back then, then how are we responsiblr for global warming now? Al Gore and the people who believe the cr*p he is saying do not have a clue what they are saying.

I do think Al Gore knows what he is saying. I believe he is running a con and does not believe what he says one bit. Would his own carbon footprint be so large if he truely believed? That's partly my fault you thought it was a joke. I do try to present this stuff as if it was a joke. If you can't have fun with it, why post it?

RYBDog, I see this as yet another scare tactic, aimed at driving corn prices yet even higher. We can what if us right into a global panic. We have already seen a small amount of this in the US with the rice limitations. I do believe it yet another ploy by companies to jack up prices, using the excuse of having to implement higher testing standards

It is definitely some kind of scare tactic. For me the problem is that this is so lame I can't ascertain the purpose.
