How many Monkey fans are there in mylot? Did you ever see them perform? What was your thoughts about their TV show? What was your favorite song? Who did you like best? Come share your thoughts and your memories and stroll down memory lane. I for one loved the Monkeys, and yes I have seen them perform many times over and over again. I was addicted as a child to the Moneys, they were are going through some mischief. My favorite song was Day Dream Believer, sung by none other than Mickey Dolenz himself. Of course Davy Jones was my favorite and like most girls then he was the cutest little hottie in the group. Last time I saw them was in Columbus, Ohio at the Oldies show the local radio station WNCI used to have every year at Clipper Stadium. Were there any others in mylot that attended any of these free concerts? Let me here what you have to say!

I never had the opportunity to see them perform, but I did get an autographed picture when I was eight. Didn't every little girl fall in love with Davy? lol I use to dream about them when I went to sleep. I was eight at the time and somehow out grew it. lol I moved on to Donny Osmond. Which my younger sister rags me about to this day. I'll be 50 next month.

Again I am sorry you did not get to see them perform. They still do perform to this day, though it is only Mickey Dolenz and Davy Jones together but, they still put on one heck of a show! Keep your ears and eyes wide open, you never know when they will come to a town close to you. As for Donny Osmond, yes he was my heartthrob as well. I would go to sleep at night singing Puppy Love, and the Twelfth of Never. I had everyone of his albums by himself, him and his brothers and Marie's for years. And they always, always performed at The Ohio State Fair and put on a fabulous show for all their fans.

I am a monkee fan. I was madly in love with Davey Jones. He ousted Paul McCartney from my no. 1 spot. I loved their show and I still like their music. Mike Nesmith doesn't seem to have anything to do with the others any more. oh well. I am in my 50's

OMG, I LOVED the Monkees and, yes, Davy Jones was soooo cute! I was never able to see them in concert because I was too young and my mean, rotten, selfish parents refused to drive for an hour, pay for tickets and parking and sit thru hours of blaring rock music just so I could. Of course once I had teenagers of my own, I understood what it was I expected them to do.

Yes He was and still is such a Hottie! Even to us older women 40 plus. I am sorry to hear about your parents never letting you to attend a concert. It was a shame, they did not realize it was quality time spent enjoying what their child wanted to do, and what would make that child happy. I was a devious child. I used to call and make reservations for shows in a Dinner theater, and whine until my dad paid for the tickets. It was great he always gave into me. lol

I'm too young to have seen them preform, but when I was a kid we use to listen to their record all the time. We still have it and my niece now listens to it and loves them too. Our favorite song was the one about buying a dog. I can't remember the exact name.

You are never to young to see them. They still do appearances all over the world. Just got to keep your eyes and ears open. I saw them perform in Columbus Ohio in 1995 at a free concert held every year by a local oldies radio station at Clipper Stadium.

Yes I actually did see the in concert this past July here in Portland during their 45th anniversary tour. I loved it. I have been a fan of the since I was five years old and it only took 25 years to finally see the in concert. I have always loved their music and their TV show. I am probably the only one my age who does not hate HEAD or has even seen 33 1/3 Revolution Per Monkee. And just to correct you, Davy sang Daydream Believer and not Micky. I have a pet peeve about that. I always have to correct things that I know are mistakes.
