Will you have your breakfast without brushing teeth?

That's impossible for me. Everyday when I get up, the first time for me to do is brushing my teeth rather than having breakfast. After a whole night, I think my teeth need to be brushed then I will have a good breath. And then I can have my breakfast.

To be frank,i care of the smell of the mouth.I think after one whole night sleeping, the smell of mouth must be strong.Maybe i will not brush my teeth at the first time i wake up.I will lie on the bed with reading,or get up to drawing room to watching TV without brushing the teeth.but before breakfast or eating something,i will must go to brush my teeth.I think it is more clean.

At least you still brush your teeth before having breakfast

It is usually my habit to brush my teeth as soon as I wake up, to get rid of that morning breath and fuzzy feeling in the mouth. Since I don't eat breakfast immediately, I don't have to worry about eating with a freshly-brushed taste in my mouth. So, by the time, I settle for breakfast, the minty taste of toothpaste should have disappeared and I can enjoy my food better. Than after eating breakfast, I brushed my teeth again. That's my normal routine in the morning when it comes to brushing my teeth and eating breakfast.

Brush teeth - Before or after breakfast
Brushing my teeth is the first thing I do when I get up. But my husband and I brush AFTER breakfast too. We don't really brush after other meals (besides dinner but it's a while after dinner and just before we go to bed). But when I was working before marriage...some of my colleagues would come to work without brushing...but they had this bottle of water with some herbs and they would drink it through out the day.

I think it's not bad to brush the teeth again after breakfast. Brushing teeth more at least is better

Good evening, youless. It is really a good and healthy habit for us to brush teeth before having breakfast as we have already slept the whole night. Also it is a good habit to brush teeth before going to bed. We brush teeth for the purpose of protecting our teeth and having a good breath. Good night.

You are right. By the way, it's strange that I seem to see Andy Lau's photo as your avatar. However, your avatar will be the default one except for this page and I don't understand why.

Hi youless! Oh no, I don't think I can. I do brush my teeth when I wake up and do brush them again after each meal and before I sleep. But of course, when I am out the whole day and eat my meals somewhere, I can't brush my teeth after meal but will do it as soon as I get home. Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

I actually brush my teeth after breakfast. I feel it's silly to brush your teeth and get them all dirty again by eating breakfast. All that food gets stuck on your teeth again and you are going throughout the day with the same kind of mouth yuckiness that you had while you were sleeping, unless you brush before and after you eat breakfast. Most people I know brush after eating and not before.

In fact I prefer to brush the teeth again after breakfast. I don't get used to have breakfast without brushing my teeth.

I wait until after breakfast to brush my teeth. I like that clean feeling to last. If I brush then eat, my teeth are dirty again.

I have the same routine as you, as I wake up, have to brush my teeth first then drink a glass of water, take my breakfast and gargle after! I can't take any food without brushing my teeth first!

I will never have breakfast before brushing my teeth. It's a must for me to brush my teeth second thing in the morning before doing anything else.

if you brush before you eat, then it mens you do brush again after as well right. O.o your mouth will be dirty and will smell the food. I always brush my teeth after eating. So it means I brush after breakfast, I brush after lunch if i am at home, and brush after eating supper. it's strange to brush before eating

Like you, the first thing I do after waking up is to wash my face and brush my teeth. Then I will feel fresh and clean after that, ready to take my breakfast. If I have to go off after breakfast, then I will gargle my mouth with a mouthwash otherwise there will be a lingering coffee odor in my mouth. Some people advocate eating breakfast first, then brushing the teeth after breakfast, but for me, I am so used to the other way round having practiced this for years already.

I don't brush my teeth until after I have eaten breakfast. Food tastes funny to me after I have brushed my teeth with a minty tooth paste.
